Hello, im playing pool for like 6 years, im started play with simple cue with hard maple shaft and have been playing with it for 3 years, then i switch to Predator Ikon with Z2 shaft, and then it take atleast 6 months to get used to that cue and after year using it i decide to change it becouse i havnt good stroke and with Z2 shaft i put too much spin on ball. So i changed cue to Predator SP6GN with 314 2 and after month using my playing level keep increasing, and last year i improve my stroke a little bit and im playing so much better than before, but i decide to change my cue becouse of linen wrap slippery, i only get good grip when my hands sweat and i dont like the linen. I try many Mezz cues from other players and i liked all of them so i decide to get Mezz MSP-M sneaky pete wrapless with wd700, i like my 314 but after reading forum that mezz shaft have more feedback, more consistent i thought ill give it a try. My old cue characteristics are: butt weight 15.0oz, shaft 3.6oz, balance 17.7 inch from back of cue and Mezz: butt weight 14.8oz, shaft 4.4oz and balance point 19.3 back of cue. So after 2 weeks of playing with new cue my notes: i can pocket balls a little better when spin dont needed, i can make cut shots so much better, more consistent, but the cue dont have power like predator has, and when i need to make long shot with spin i just cant do it. Im strugling on tournaments, making mistakes which i never do before and i hate do mistake whithout pressure on.. Im playing on 3 different pool halls, in one the cloth is pretty fast and cushions not bad im playing pretty good, im even made three 9 ball run outs in a row after 1 week playing, of course it was great break shots and i didnt need any good shot to do, but in other pool halls where cloth is slow, it is so hard to play for me, im just doing fouls which i never do before, maybe i didnt get used to it, but i think i never will, becouse balance is more rear weighted and deflection seems much more than 314. So im thinking of getting 314 for my mezz or just keep playing and try get used to it, im looking for good opinions what to do, im really confused.
