Joss- 1968-1979- Post your Pictures Please!!!

Here is what I think is a version of model 6 of the diamond series but without the stitch rings photo (73).jpg

photo (70).JPG. There isn't a logo which could have worn off, the only thing that bothers me or makes me wonder whether its an older Joss is that the points look off, they are too fat at the ends, almost rounded even though the inner veneers are tight and sharp, the other thing that bothers me is that all of the points are the same length. What do you guys think?

1982-83 joss that the white lettering was worn or refinished off.

A little out of the date range of this thread I believe (probably more mid 80s). But anyone have a Nick Varner J8? That was always my favorite design on the Joss cues.

Yeah, definitely an old Joss, I had emailed pictures of it to Dan Janes and he just responded that it was an old Joss model 6 diamond series without the stitch rings

70's Joss.....

Here's one I picked up recently that is pretty cool.. I love the simplicity of the butt and the deep red veneers on the forearm with the single black inside the maple.. Enjoy.....!

One more.....

Another relic I acquired recently.. Not sure what's up with the logo but I have decided I don't really care..The logo's on these old Joss cues can differ quite a bit from cue to cue, and I was more interested in the ivory joint and big pin than the logo anyway..As long as it's there it's all good, right?

Did he say anything about those points? The Diamond Catalog cues had sharp points.

Wow, that's nice. I owned Raist's cue at one time and it had the same veneer colors. They pop in person. Super nice.

It's one of the only cues I really regret letting it go. I picked it up in the middle of nowhere (to me anyways) up in Michigan. It was beat up, but I could see it had some great potential, and it still played amazing. Anyways, bump just because I love this thread ;)

68 - 72 joss

I would like to know as much as possible about the cue in the attached pictures. I have gathered that it is between the 68 - 72 year time frame because of the slanted lettering for JOSS. I do not see anything else regarding the additional lettering which indicates -The Brew-. Please provide any information.

Thank You

This cue is in pristine condition for it's age! WIlling to sell it if the offer is good.
