The only reason I want clarification on this subject is *IMO* that is what this whole thing boils down to.
Glen owes no one but the OP any clarification of anything having to do with this topic. But he HAS posted all of the information your asking for in this thread. Problem is most people are too interested in the sh#t throwing thats gone on to comprehend what happened.
Anyone that has ever dealt with customers has seen it happen before. Business says I'll try, I may be able to, I will do my best to, or any other statement followed by a date or a time and all the customer hears is the date or the time. Cant tell you how many times in the last business I ran we would tell the customer the installer would be there between 9:30 to 11:30. At 9:35 the customer would call screaming he was PROMISED the installer would be there BY 9:30.
I can not say with all certainty this is what happened here as I was not there obviously. But Id be willing to bet after reading this thread it was along these lines.
Disclaimer**** the above was used as an EXAMPLE and is in no way trying to compare the OP wait time to that of being 5 mins late. I am NOT a nut hugger, have never had Glen work on a table or met him. I also do not approve or disapprove of his reaction to the early portion of the thread, all I can say is I understand how a knee jerk reply on the internet can get out of hand. To Glen he was trying to help a guy out, and then got blasted on the internet so he reacted. Glen may have been in an area with bad reception and was not responding to the OP which caused the OP to react.
