AZB Gold Member Giveaways Begin

So you go to church and get the same benefits whether u throw a lil cash there way or not. However they dont require you to pay to have the ability to go the special sunday event do they?

When you go to a big event tournament and they sell 50/50 tickets or cue raffle tickets would you expect to win if you didn't buy a ticket?

I have never been a religious man I believe in god I just dont believe in religion. Used to go to church with my sister in law a few years back and I asked the wife what do these pastors do outside of here to make a living? She told me some have regular jobs but the one at this church was just a pastor. Coincidentally he preached about not having money growing up and has never been a man of money he has always lived for god. When we left that day tue damndest thing happened the pastor drove away in a brand new $60k sports car. Lol

I, too, can't spare the $35 right now, but I fully intend to send it along when I get my ducks in a row such that I can do so. The site is well worth it, and I want to support it.

Very cool stuff, Jerry. Nice if you to reward those who are supporting the site. Bravo.

And thanks for all that you have provided, for everyone. The site is awesome!

Actually im at work right now but once again thank you for jumping to conclusions without knowing my situation. Remember the next time u jump in your car there is a real good possibility that the guy you told to basically get a job had a major hand in producing parts on that car that gets you where you need to go

No definitely does surprise me by any means. Doesn't really bother me all that much cuz I know they got bills to pay. Just puzzles me that a forum which at one point in time was here to help out the pool universe now requires a payment to reap the benefits. As if the pool players out there didnt have enough expenses. I could see if you use azb as means to make money by selling things every week. But anyways ill stop before I let it actually bother me lol

I just spent the last 45 seconds browsing through the infinite wisdom that you've shared in the last 7 years. It's nice to see that you can sell cues for hundreds, get a couple grand from a table, win all kinds of local tournies, blah blah blah.. but get all bent out of shape when asked to support, for a cheap fee, a board that you've taken full advantage of for 7 years. You can still use it, you just don't get special benefits. There's no doubt that you are a "real pool player". Well, since that's the case, I got you something.. maybe they should include dispensers on cases from now on.

PS - If you've got a problem with the life you live, don't blame others.

Only in the world of pool can you get criticized for giving back to those who support you. I am beginning to feel like a stake-horse. :) Mike and I both work other jobs to keep this site going. So do we appreciate those who contribute to make it possible for us to go cover pro events and bring you free live streams and free live-scoring of those? You bet we do. So we give them a monthly drawing, coupons, etc. It is, I would think, to be expected.

We appreciate all of our readers. Bronze, Silver, Gold, guests. And all of the work we do to keep them all up to date and in the know about all things pool is provided to all of them. Free. We have free videos on the front page, free photo galleries there as well, all the latest headlines.

And we will continue to find new ways to thank our Gold members. Without them none of this is possible.

I just tried to purchase a Gold member for someone, and I can't do it. It says "You're already a Gold member." How can I purchase an additional Gold member account for someone else?

This is what I see. It doesn't give me an option to pay for an additional Gold membership.

I get my $3-$5 worth of jollies from the site each month. Even with the occasional banning, the entertainment and information are well worth it. I played online text games for years and did the BBS thing back in the 90s. Running, maintaining and improving a site of this size takes a real crew.

your 45 second search probably didn't tell you that I have never actually sold anything on here did it? Probably didn't tell you that when winning all those tournies and when I had money before my hours got cut that this was still a free site and once I was actually in a situation to pay to get these benefits I would probably wont now cuz its pointless to pay to belong to something where members jump your arse for voicing your opinion then defending yourself. All I implied was it was sad how a great free site now wants you to pay to get the good benefits and for saying that I get called a whiney obama supporter who needs to get a job.

And in all honesty im not an obama supporter or any other presidential supporter I dont believe in sticking your hand in the cookie jar for free while you are able to buy your own cookies but if someone asks me for help and I am in a position I sure as hell will do my best to help them. Not once did I say I want to b a gold member once again I was just voicing an opinion

Rookie, you're taking it way out of proportion here.

Everyone here, yourself included is a valuable member and being Gold doesn't make anyone more special.

I had a little extra money my way lately and decided to throw it into the pot to show support and appreciation for a great site that has provided me with a lot of entertainment over the years.

Not much more than that and if it hadn't been for those circumstances, I would have been happy to remain a Silver member.

Everyone has a story to tell. If I told you mine, I bet you wouldn't feel quite so bad.

Edit- Jerry, I didn't win the Viking cue. I would like my money back for the Gold if you don't mind.

You know I'm just kidding, I hope.

It's still a free site, you just get extras THAT THEY WORKED TO INCLUDE if you pay up to $4.95 for a month, or as low as $2.91. You just wanted to come on here and complain about it. No "opinion" was voiced, you complained that you were getting stiffed. You can be a whiney Romney supporter for all I care. It doesn't change the fact that you're crying about not being included in a raffle for things because you didn't pay up a few dollars. You're the reason I wouldn't run a tournament if they paid me, because I wouldn't put up with you for a second. Have fun using that whole box, I've got half a million in checks to cut and mail today so I'll be busy. Bye!

JAM,

That has to be done manually. Send me an email : Jerry@azbilliards.com and I will reply with a paypal request. Once that is completed all I will need is the user name on the forums of the person you wish to pay for and it will be done. First, of course, they have to be registered on the forums with a screen name. They have to be bronze or silver before they can be gold.

Best,
Jerry

Great. I am sending you an e-mail right now. As soon as I click the link, I will pay immediately today. THANK YOU, Jerry, for your kind assistance!

Thank you JAM! I missed this image/listing...somehow. We all get old I guess :P

Money given to the church is suppose to support the pastors family and also be poured back into the church. Once money is in the teasurey it can be used to buy stuff that is needed for the church such as tables, painting walls, doing the driveway, etc. Money from the church can be used to help run fund raisers for causes or increase the churches account for other things. NOW.... Whether this is the practice I don't know but it's safe to say that most people have faith in their churches to do the right things with the money given to GOD

Mission accomplished. I just completed the transaction. Thanks, Jerry. Be sure to read the note. ;)

Forget this whiner, lets get to more pressing Gold Member Business.

Please post the Price, Waterhouse & Cooper Audit of the drawing to prove it was on the up and up. I kinda expected to win and would like to make sure (as would the AZ community as a whole I'm sure) that it was done random and legit (unless you would like to send me a cue as "hush money" in which case I'll be happy to edit this post to be in praise of AZ).

Just looking to protect us all from the shenanigans of The Man as always.

Thanks

Kevin

the greatest site for billiards has now become like everyone else in the industry and kicks us poor folks while we r down

Let me ask you this. How much does it cost you to post on this site? How much does it cost to post something for sale on this site? How much does it cost to read the thousands of threads of information about pool whether it is about aiming systems (couldn't resist), stories, tournament information, random thoughts etc? How much does all of this cost???...and yet you whine about being a gold member with a few more benefits including being entered in a drawing for a pool cue lol....so you want something for nothing, sounds about right I guess.
