Pool Player Identification

I have seen this fellow at one or two of the big events posing as a pool player. It could have been the Derby City Classic a few years back.

Now I find a picture of him in an Internet magazine and an article that you can read by clicking here, apparently now posing as some type of big-time mucky-muck, maybe a politician of sorts. Can't be for sure. Google translate works ok but you have to be careful when you copy and past other languages into it. The best that I can get out of the article is that the big mucky-muck is making suggestions about a construction project.

These type of people need to exposed for what they are.

Do any of you remember this fellow?

Sounds like that movie with Leo de Caprio called "Catch me if you can" good movie.
 
The weird thing (maybe not) is that Roy is Norwegian right?

And the Google image recognition software serves up Norwegian matches.

Hmmmm, maybe they are on to something over there.

Exposed for what they are? <------whats that mean? i'm not sure what thats all about, i didnt see the article. link was just to a picture. What happened?


Roy is running for a Govt position. He said so the other day, he plays petty good too

Glad you fixed that, I was wondering what 'ol Roy had gotten into. He is a good guy, wish he would get back over here sometime. It may be hard for him to associate with us n'er-do-wells if he becomes a full-time politician though.

Yes, you're right but if he hits the big time, can you imagine the important dignitaries from America that he will be inviting to visit Stavanger, to discuss important government issues. I'm already in the inner circle, raising the flag and all for him.

I hope the rest of you n'er-do-wells will get behind Roy and get him elected to parliament. :grin: This may be the direction that all pool players need to go in. I think pool players have many innate skill sets needed to become politicians.

I think you nailed it there. If you figure out how to maneuver through a week at Derby City Classic getting new friends and don't lose money, surviving an election campaign is a no-brainer ;-)
