You can eat on the road just the same as home. The pinoys do it.
I have never seen a pinoy eat, they might be aliens who eat air and just play bad ass pool.

The only scary thing about bonus ball is Charlie Williams is silent. . I'm wondering if he's waiting for it to fail, which is bound to happen, so he can scoop up the investor/sponsor of it.
On a side note does the bonus ball girls have a restraining order on how close C.W can get to them?
That's what you're for, you and Meximan, the spokesman for BB. I'm sure you can relay the message.
More misinformation Brent! The players can play whatever they like period. The players to make the most of income should live where the weekly paycheck is just like any other job. It is no different for me, I moved to Vegas for work, if I chose to pay money for hotels and airfare once a week it would eat into my pay so I made a smart choice. It is not up to Bonus Ball to tell the players where to live and manage their money. I think $1000 roughly for working for a few hours is pretty good money actually sure beats McDonald's.
Alright man, I chuckled.
lol what?
Since when is it my job to go on Az, read information that's indirect from the source, and then relay it to the players? The last contact made direct to the players were threatening phone calls. It's not my job to patch that up for them by browsing the internet in hopes that I read a 3rd party post.
PS. I'm a producer. I run cameras, equipment, and handle my crew. I also take care of the creative aspect of the website. Contrary to your desire to blame everything on me, I handle only the creative and technical side of things, which is why I just smile when people like Jay say I'll never work in the industry again. As far as I'm concerned, the production (which is my job) is starting to look quite nice, and will be much improved over the next 2 weeks as we begin to layer on the remaining production elements.
I agree but way worse expense wise playing in tournaments. For players to make it they should live in Vegas, most are single and can relocate if they want. They could live cheaply in Vegas due to inexpensive housing and a team could grab a three bedroom for $1000 or so a month and be banking around $20,000 in six months besides whatever they want to do during off days.Lenny,
A lot of players are not working a few hours. They don't all live there, actually I'd say most don't. Plane tickets eat away, hotels split or not eat away, time spent in airports and away from family, that has to account for something. It's not just the few hours.
Plus if they do live there some are paying expenses in double spots. There and home.
Also if living there and only working a few hours, the majority of these guys are stone cold suckers, they will stay busted. Always have always will.

But you're here, right? And you've read the offer, right? So why, if you care about your players (who do not read AZ), wouldn't you make the effort to relay the offer?
Or are you just out for yourself?
Lou Figueroa
It is possible. If they would relocate, and keep from the casinos. I lived there 2 years I have a little idea what it takes there. I'm just not sure a lot of them can stay away from the casinos. If they played pool only, then it would be great.
Oh well, I'm done with it. Works callin.

Like I said to make a living you need to relocate at times. If you hired me in Jersey to do whatever and I chose to fly there and back and live in hotels then that is my deal, if I chose to live there and save airfare and housing money then I would make more money. I love AZ because I am not the most logical person but I feel like I am on here. This place is awesome! :thumbup:Lenny, Uncle Sam is gonna want his share too. I know a lot of the players are flying back and forth. Take Mika for example, he's been back and forth from ny. $1000 - taxes - $400 flight = flipping burgers. Your "few hours of work" doesn't account for the fact that they're in Vegas. I'd guess you're 1099ing the players so hopefully they save money for taxes and also write off the flight. But they're still not exactly making much money out of the deal.
You are right Brent but food at home is $5-$10 a day depending on what you eat and if you are on the road it can be $50+ a day and over the course of a week it can really add up. I still think the offer is a generous one and applaud Greg for trying to help out the players. Imagine one day players just have to pay just travel and food and get a free room and entries to an event.
I've read this information in a post typed by someone who is *not* the source. So no, I will not be relaying indirect information. If the information is indeed true (which I dont doubt it is), then it can be relayed *directly* by whomever wants it to be known. The internet is full of misinformation, and I won't be caught in that trap like so many others.
Consider this. Say I go tell the players this, and then they all book flights and show up at the event. Then someone there says "we never said that we'd stake these guys, you just saw that gossip online and relayed false information". I have no doubt Lou that you'd turn around and blame me for that as well.
As for saying I only care about myself, give me a break man. That's a pretty weak assumption to make about someone who is obviously busting their asses to make things better for the players. I don't own shares in WPBL, and have my guys working so many hours that it's *costing* me money. Im losing money right now, not making it, and yet I don't care because I feel I'm making positive change (you don't have to agree, thats not the point).
So please refrain from assuming everyone out there is a horrible person. Some of us actually care, and are doing our best. Pessimism doesn't help anyone.
You say you don't doubt the info is true -- so why not relay the info... unless you're just out for yourself. And that's not assuming anything because no fool is going to book anything based solely on your heads up. BUT it would spur them to contact Greg, who is not hard reach and possibly take advantage of a generous offer. So you don't end up on the hook for anything.
To not relay the info, to players who you say do not read AZ, is selfish or perhaps just lazy. You pick em.

For a stated "technician" you have put out a lot of misleading and even damaging information about Bonus Ball.
