Pat Fleming confirmed they will be getting a 9footer for 14.1 in the last Game Show that was on wednesday night.
Seemed more logical for 14.1.

John developed a scheduling conflict.
John withdrew his name from the event.
A shame - yes. We were looking forward to his participation.
The good news - now Pat's supporters will be able to choose his replacement.

As one of the "supporters", how is Nick Varner's health these days? I would love to see him play 14.1 again.
Have they found a replacement for Schmidt yet?
My earlier post here was made up out of whole cloth. I must be having auditory hallucinations in my old age. Pat never told me he was not replacing John and is, in fact replacing him. Sorry for the misinformation.

If that is true, surely there would also be some other change(s) to the format. Otherwise it would involve only 12 short games instead of 20. Perhaps they'll play each other 3 times instead of 2, or play longer games, or ...?

I'd vote for Jasmin Ouschan. It would be a great addition.
Is this still happening? I got the same letter so I assume that it is. I regret that I can't afford the $300 to become a full supporter, but I would still consider buying the ppv if it is available. Also, is there word on the replacement yet?
I won't be able to go, but I will see some of the PPV. The package you get is awesome!. All the DVDs, a shirt, a true signed picture, your name in the credits of each DVD, and a shout out during the match. There is also a chance to predict the winners and make some $ yourself this time.
Just the DVDs alone are worth the price. I really think Pat's "Make it Happen" format really is a winner because the players risk nothing, all their expenses are paid, and they have a chance to compete for some pretty good $. The filming and commentary on the 8-ball was top-notch.
I like Ralf for the fifth, he plays a beautiful game of 14.1.

I procrastinated too long and the deadline slipped by. I can't be there personally, I don't do PPV and I don't wear T'shirts but that doesn't mean I'm not interested. I hope it happens and I will surely buy the DVD'S.. What's the latest?
