EVERYONE has been an asshole at one time or another! And I mean everyone, myself included. I don't have to read this entire thread to know that.
I wondered how long it would take for you to get back to your "real job" of bashing instructors. Not long, I see

Funny Scott, I remember you having no problems bashing an Instructor not very long ago.
But hey, instructors stick together right. That is unless there is a little professional jealousy.
Then its ok.
I never said "habitual," English! I did say eyewitnesses on site at the 14.1 tournament observed him drinking excessively (abusing alcohol), cursing (which is uncharacteristic of Johnny Archer), and slamming cues on tables.
The point of origin to my dismay is when he and UpState Al were on livestream together, with Johnny Archer sharing stories about Keith McCready and making derogatory remarks about him behind his back. I didn't hear it, and but the person(s) who did called me up this morning on the telephone to let me know what Johnny said about Keith in public, which pissed me off.
So there you have it!![]()
Jenny, I want to clear things up. Everyone that knows me will testify that i hardly ever drink. I don't have a problem with someone drinking but me personally i don't like the taste of alcohol. As for me being on the livestream with Upstate Al, someone gave you some wrong information. I was not on the Livestream at all except the matches that i was playing. I love and respect Keith very much. When we traveled together when we were young we had such a great time. I learned a lot from Keith. I would never say anything about Keith other than some old pool stories when we were on the road. All in fun. Next time if you hear anything you don't like that i might have said, call me first and we will talk. Because you of all people should know how rumors get started. I have a lot of respect for you and i consider you a friend. Thanks, Johnny Archer
In the past, Johnny has always treated me with respect, a true Southern gentleman, a family man with high morals, and a strong faith in his higher power.
Not sure why Johnny finds it necessary to knock Keith since Keith isn't even in his world anymore. Keith wants to post on this forum about it, but you and I both know that if and when he does, the trolls come out and say it's me posting, so he doesn't even get to respond to the allegations Johnny made about him while Johnny was inebriated.
Lee, Very unusual behavior for JA. I wasn't there an I didn't see or hear any of it. I will say this though. I have been around JA in a bar/pool room environment MANY MANY times over the past 7-8 years and I have seen him drink maybe 15 drinks in total. These drinks include wine coolers an foo foo chocolate drinks. Now I am not and can't say this never happened AGAIN I was not there. It does seem very out of his norm though. Not defending just saying out of maybe a 1,000 hours in a bar with him and at the most 15 drinks?? don't add up.
I spoke with him for just a minute yesterday and probably based on the obvious he didn't seem very happy. There you go that's my input.
It's not for nothing that I think of JAM as the forum drama queen. This post stood out to me the most. I couldn't understand how JAM, who seems very smart, could get so irate at Johnny without confirming what was told to her. She said herself that Johnny has always treated her with respect. I'm glad the rumors were false.
Jam, who gave you that call spreading the lies? What was their motivation?

Thank you for taking the time to reply, Johnny, in an effort to clear things up. Keith called UpState Al to speak to him last night, but Keith and he both ended up playing telephone tag. We do *not* have your phone number, Johnny, or you can be sure Keith would have given you a ring.
The words you said about Keith and Ronnie Wiseman were probably the most hurtful. Ronnie didn't care for it too much, either. Maybe you don't even remember what you said.
Several people on site in New York called me up to let Keith know not only what you had said about Keith on a computer with Upstate Al, but they also relayed your behavior at the tournament, which seemed out of character to me.
People drink alcohol for different reasons. The majority of people drink alcohol to socialize and have fun. There are some people, though, who should *not* drink alcohol because of the behavior they exhibit. I am one of those people, Johnny, and even though I have not drank since 1978, I am, indeed, an alcoholic. I am sensitive to issues relating to alcoholism. I did *not* drink every day, could go weeks without drinking, but when I did, I couldn't stop, would close the bar down. The more I drank, the faster I drank. Sound like anybody we know?
There is a reason why Keith has not been to a *major* pool tournament or gone to a so-called "pool exhibition" or gone on the road to perform exhibitions since September 2006, and it doesnt' have anything to do with how good Keith is hitting 'em. I am pretty sure if your lovely wife had accompanied you, Johnny, to this event, your behavior at this tournament would have been different. Behind every good man is a good woman.
To the multiple-identitied trolls, JAM haters, and forum instigators now bashing me on this thread, what I wrote was the truth. I don't give a hill of beans what anyone has to say about me, but I defend my man just like what Johnny said about defending his wife in another thread.
I could have written a great deal more about what was said to me by three different people on site at this tournament, but out of respect for Johnny Archer, I did not. I was only concerned abuot the matters pertaining to Keith. Could the words spoken to me have been embellishments, untruths, lies, rumors? If they were, all three people relayed the exact same thing.
Wishing you all the very best in your future tournaments, Johnny. I will pray that you be strong for your family, for your friends, and for your fans. Sweet blessings are coming your way.![]()
OMG I like ... totally get what you're ... like ... saying! Like OMG!!!
