At least he isn't laying down to die and announcing his retirement....
Retired people aren't exactly "laying down to die," some retirees are very young and vibrant, that's for sure.....I gave lessons to a guy 78 years young today and he was like a kid with a new toy when he learned how to do the "hammer stroke" to "Pin" his draw shot the length of the table.
I believe retired people are the ideal "target demographic".
I'm going to start giving "Senior Citizen Discounts" on all my DVD's and Lessons. There's something special about dealing with older people, they seem to really enjoy playing pool for both the mental and physical exercise.
I'm giving a free lesson seminar at their Retirement Recreational Center in two weeks, anyone in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area over 50 is invited, it should be awesome.
Mary Avina will be there as well, for more info. check out my web site next week.
I told him I was making that one my new avatar but I like this picture better.![]()

there's a story about a guy they called "waterdog" that this picture reminds me of. i suggest people check it out. This is what happens to a lot of pool players... incredibly talented players full of potential, and it's sad. it is really sad to see...

Rodney asked me to send 2 more Black Heart tips to his cuemaker goes by the name Barry Szamboti? I hope I spelled his name right. He must be in bad financial shape to play with some unknown cue.![]()
