The most expensive modern cue ever on ebay?

You guys are completely overlooking the fact that it comes with a genuine, black vinyl cue case. It's not just a cue for $60K -- it's a cue AND case!

On the other hand, it is "1 of 3". But elsewhere on ebay I see Dale Perry cues that are "1 of 1" -- much more exclusive.

If it were truly that collectable and worth 60 K, he would have easily found a different route in order to sell it. Believe it or not, there are people who will pay big money for cues
that actually are collectable.

And it would have sold. If he has to finally resort to Ebay, then hes a Hurtin Grasping Dude.

Dallas is right. I've seen that cue on the bay before. Probably a couple years ago. Thought it was around $30k.

I asked the seller if they mis-typed the asking price with an extra zero or not.... which would make it over-priced as well. But we shall see.

Yea I think we all know that their are people that will pay big money for cues. Lol thanks for talking down to us. The joke. Is that this isn't one of them. Lol maybe if it was in the smithsonian but not just 1 of 3 cues made for it.

Thanks for the link. So it cost $5K from J&J and now he wants $60K for the same cue! When a cue price goes above $2K I can't help but wonder what is used to determine the price. I see cues advertised all the time for $5500, $6500, $7500 etc. and it makes me wonder where did the price come from. Cue makers all use the same type of material to build cues some just do it better than others, but some of these prices are unreal.

Kind of weird, the seller's history. Hundreds of items sold, almost all Porsche OEM car parts, some mercedes/bmw, then ... like 2 watches and 1 cue. Guess they make a living flipping high-dollar items.

I feel like I should at least have HEARD of bender, for anyone to try charging 60k for his cues.

Maybe I should buy this cue.

...haven't gone off on a bender for a long time

His response to me was that the malachite used in this particular cue gives it a very crisp playerability....prob the best response I ever got despite it's total lack of anything!

lots of money for a pool cue

Its not our money or business if we are not buying or selling that cue.

And not everyone buys a cue to play with.
Cue collectors and even cue investors may have no interest on how the cue plays.

The seller has been reposting it for sale for probably about a year or two now, over and over. I love Bender's cues, and have one fancier than this one, and I would only ask $45,000 for mine! And I don't like malachite in a cue anyway. Send me a note if you are interested. My word is good, and I am serious about my cue being fancier than this one, so you know at $45,000 it is a steal! LOL ebay will long be gone before this cue sells.
