It's not one we can see, unfortunately:
Efren in his prime vs. Ronnie Allen in his prime.
I think a race to 20 over 2 days would not be so bad, I think he was gassed in this last TAR match after 2 weeks of straight pool playing Earl and the DCC. Alex or Shane vs Frost would be epic in a long race as long as The Freezer shows up to play his best game because I know Alex and Shane will.
It's not one we can see, unfortunately:

John Schmidt vs Danny Harriman --- have you ever thought about doing that match?![]()
A few years ago I got a surprise when I did a one pocket Challenge match with Scott Frost and Efren at how many people came to the event and how many bought the DVD.
So Just recently I was looking to have a rematch with Scott and Efren but he had to leave today so there was no chance to do it. So it got me thinking, since 1 Pocket is maybe a more purist game and a smaller % of fans obviously than 8-ball lets say. What would be the ultimate 1 pocket match that people would love to see?
I have a couple of thoughts.
Keith McCready vs Earl or Alex P or Scott
Scott Vs Efen or Shane or obviously Efren
What are your thoughts?
this is easy Efren and Ronny Allen would of been the best match of all time
Could take out that variable by just having Alex and Shane...
Ronnie more versatile?? no way -- Efren definitely has proven his versatility with all kinds of all-around and different discipline titles. not even close, unless you are talking one-handed.Yep, ultimate was the word used.....
...so it has to be Ronnie and Efren...in their prime.
an all-round would be interesting also..
Ronnie may have been more versatile
Many think Frost is the best, it is hard to argue with success. He has beat Alex and Shane for money in one pocket and also lost to Alex that last time. Frost has won the biggest money in recent pool history with his battle with Dippy. He has finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the DCC One Pocket the past 5 years which is very impressive.
Problem with Scott, from what i hear and read is that he is not 100% dedicated to pool, he flip flop. DCC is race to 3 anyone's game, race to 10 or 20 he has no chance IMO. Scott's power one pocket does not work well on long races.
