Would you play Jennifer B even?

Let's say 9b or 10b, race to 9 for 1K. If not, how much weight?

Who would you put money on between Jennifer Barretta and Jenny Lee?

Her bio said she first picked up a pool cue 12yrs ago. I saw she had won a couple matches on the loser side of the Empire State 10b tourney.

I would not be able to play her even. The wild 7&8 would be a close game, I believe.

Haven't seen either one of them play lately. However, JB would have to be the clearly better player for me to go with her over Lee, a seasoned money player who's definitely not afraid to step in the box for $1K. So if they both had sweat in the game the edge definitely goes to Lee imho. Haven't heard much about JB's gambling experience but I know Jeanette is willing to mix it up.

I'd play either one of them even in strip 9 Ball. What would I have to lose? And the crowd would all be pulling for me to catch a gear even if they had bet against me.

golf maybe!

Jenny Lee would be the slight underdog I think but if she plays well- her high gear, she could get there. She isn't going to lie down-I guarantee that!

I would play her even on a bar box.....maybe even on a 9 footer, it would depend on what day it was.
I also stay very mad at my money.

How do they rank as players? Are they A players? Semi pro? B+ players? I've had a friend tell me that I could play one of the top women players(sorry, can't say name) 10-ball even, but I would need weight in 9!?!?! I never understood that, but hey, I'm just a B player! So, how do they rank??

How did JB get that good? Natural gift plus lessons and tons of practice? Probably a lot of guys that has put in a lot more table time and is nowhere near her level.

She would be equal to a men shortstop?

I'm up with you on this one.

I never played for a $1000. But dead in my prime in top gear if I could hold my speed I would have played her even.

Jenny Lee not Jeanette Lee. HUGE difference.

Same spot

I'd need about the same spot. The money would rattle me I think though. I've never played for that much. I'm a $50-$100 a set type of player. I'd have to play on the big table though.

not even close, bet on jennifer

Baretta is very very deliberate. She has really studied the game and its tough playing her. She really puts the air out of the room, does not play on emotion. Lee would be more fun to play, seems to completely enjoy it and is more apt to try and come with shots.
I would play Lee even in 9 or 10 and bet it up. Win or lose it would be fun. I have played Baretta and lost once. The pace of play was s l o w, which puts me on tilt. She has very good cueball control and shoots real straight. I think she could spot lee quite a bit.
Neither of these ladies are B players, thats silly. They would both have an uphill fight versus a quality shortstop. They could get easy action from A speed players.
