All these cues look like copys of Ed Prewitt cues in some way or another. Rich
After reading your post, I went over to this thread to take a look at a bunch of Prewitts.
I did see one design that looked similar. That said, I don't think Mr. Prewitt invented notched diamonds, dots or veneered windows. These designs are classic, the colors are common and they are done by many cue makers. Many customers also have similar preferences. Therefore, many similar cues will be made, by many different makers, in order to fill this demand.
This is a new cue maker who is turning out some really nice work and is trying to make a name for himself. Don't try to ruin that by tossing out baseless comments implying that these cues are copies. That is probably one of the worst accusations that can be thrown at a cue maker.
We have all seen copies on this forum before... blatant, unashamed copies. Photos of which have been posted side-by-side with the original, just to show how detailed and exact the copy was.
If you can provide any type of similar pictorial evidence showing that any of these designs are copies, please do so. If that is the case, it should be brought to our attention.
However, until you can show evidence like this, leave well enough alone. Eddie is a talented guy. Let him get his business growing... free of any false accusations.
Cheers,
Mike
