Sucks that you got screwed over in this table purchase.
Unfortunately, Glen has also screwed over multiple people who have sent him money for table work. Several of those stories have been documented here.
Although I don't doubt you got the short end of the stick, Glen is a POS and having him advocate for you is like have Kevin Trudeau argue for truth in advertising.
You probably would have had a better chance getting this situation made right by using someone with a decent reputation who can communicate in a professional manner.
Hope you get it figured out, karma has already been biting Glen on the ass recently, don't let it bite you for his lack of integrity.

I am no expert on covering, repairing, or restoring a Pool Table. But on this forum there is a stickyPool Table Mechanic Directory.
If I was in need of a person to work on a table, I would look for a local guy, as if a call back was necessary, the guy would not be 500 miles away when I called him.
He is Phoenix we have DC who is very good, does return to fix his boo boo when they happen, because no one is perfect, no questions asked, boo boo get fixed.
Why deal with a guy traveling the USA that has no ties to your local area?
BTW I see the Cobra is BANNED. So it could be a while before he bits again.

I don't know him well enough to say either way.....
Just an observation, from the restorations he's posted, he does seem to know his craft.....but that's all I could attest to...and on that note, I am not a table mechanic in any way shape or form.
I wonder for how long.
Glen Hancock. Some view him as the Earl Strickland of table mechanics. Brilliant while "on the table". Sometimes weak in social skills. If I had a table, he'd be the first one I'd call for mechanical help! The adage of no one is perfect applies here.

Totally off-topic thread jack.....but I had a hamster named after him when I was about 12....He ended up falling to his death from my second story room to the basement via a furnace duct.....in the middle of January.....yea, he was quite ripe!
So as not to confuse any one who is you calling a "rip off artist". Please Splain why??????
Glen fixed my table, and I would have him do the same again when needed.

Ha, you remember that one from our old school days.
I had originally thought maybe Glen somehow got that thread pulled. I guess it was his propensity to lash out and use profanity to the other members when put up against the wall.
I know that when there is a dispute that involves money, the Mods prefer to leave the thread up long enuff in hopes of a resolution for the person. Thats fair, but I suppose that
they knew that probably wouldn't happen in this case. It wouldn't have gone anywhere
except a lot of fighting and profanity back and forth.
AZ doesn't need to be associated with members that advertise on here somewhat and rip people off for their money. And its not the first time that Glen has had a Thread started in his honor.
