I usually try to ignore politics as much as possible but I suppose you're correct in that aspect. Either or, just picked up a new Gen 4 Glock 23 yesterday morning--I'll be lubricating the barrel with Liberal tears before going to break it in at the range in a few hours. haha

If you go on any gun forum and you will find thousands of pictures of people guns they are proud of. I think it is a bad idea to post a picture that shows the gun serial number. There are registries of stolen guns, so if you think you own a stolen gun I would not put a picture if the number for all to see.
Beyond that there is little unique about guns, one gun is the same as the next. Heck, you don't even know if the picture someone post is even their gun or something they photoshopped off the net.
You can find yourself with a stolen gun and you don't have to be dealing with a thief or druggie. Guns get taken out of a house all the time by some son or nephew. Then like a year later the gun is discovered missing or there is a break-in and they just assume the gun was taken.
You may have innocently bought the gun and have a bill of sale and everything but you now own a gun that is in a stolen registry. Should you go to sell it or trade it it could pop up. Especially if you do it at a gun show they are going to check it out.
He doesn't trust the government and thinks black helicopters are following him around. Read his one NPR posting, it is really bizarre. You get the impression he feels anyone that doesn't agree with him should be dead.

for the record: i do not own, nor possess ANY guns, semi-autos, knives, holllow points, exploders, switchblades, stillettos, fireworks, etc.
(but i did learn a really good combo last night from my Special Ops brother, regarding blowing a 10x10 hole in the ground)

GA Precision 6.5 Creedmoor in Mcree Chassis with Bushnell 4.5-30 scope. This Sunday morning I was hitting a ten inch plate at 903 yards. Its a solid half MOA rifle.
Friend of mine shooting my LMT MWS .308. This one has been a bit of a problem child. Its now set up as a battle rifle with a Vortex 1-6 and collapsable stock.
14.5" Noveske build.
Top one is my EDC. A gen 4 19. Bottom is a Shield I carry when I need something a little lighter/slimmer. The M&P9C in the middle I sold as it does nothing better for me than either the 19 or the Shield.

This is my new Century Arms C39 AK-47. This is my latest project where I've "AR-ized" my AK.
At $0.21/bullet for 7.62x39, this is a tremendous value in obliteration power. Might be my new favorite gun.
