He didn't see it, but, of course, makeup does wonders. I don't wear quite it as much as I used to when I was out and about. I think she is pretty, so I consider this a very nice compliment. :)

Interestingly, I am taking an informal survey on a private forum for my industry. Every single person there knows nothing about pool, but they do come from all walks of life. It will be interesting to get their feedback on this.

Sometimes it's not the content that makes the success, but rather it is the way it is presented. This producer has a good track record. There are several points in this promo that are very well done. One thing I noticed is how the camera pans upside-down, in and out, et cetera. It's good camera work, professionally done, not one camera sitting on one tripod filming one table, which is the only way I'd know how to film pool. :o

I love the part when Spanky says he had the crowd going when Scooter was stuck in the match 20 to 14, and then they show Scooter howling, immitating the crowd. This is good stuff and what will keep the viewing audience glued to the screen to find out what happens next ---> HERE

Keith has been away for a long while, so he doesn't have to barbecue Scooter.

Hypothetically speaking, though, this kind of happening would be perfect for Keith to jump back in the deep end of pool. Keith has no fear when it comes to gambling or being on film. He actually does like entertaining the crowds, and the more engaged they are, it thrusts his pool engine into turbocharge. :grin-square:

Perfect example of it is when he held the table at the Action Pit in Super Billiards Expo 30-some games in a row. The more engaged the crowd got, the better he played. Keith is a wee bit of a pool ham when it comes to performing on a field of green. :grin-square:

In the first picture below at SBE, I think this may be a very young Scooter in the blue shirt barking at the crowd, trying to get down on some side bets. This was a real three-ring circus. Tony Ruberto was there. Keith is on the right in the gray. The list to get on the action table had over 30 names on it. What a great time we all had! :grin-square:

Pool purists may not like this kind of environment, but this year at the SBE, the action was actually quite fun, especially for Keith. We went home with 15 large from the action that year.

From what I saw in the trailer...I like it a lot. In fact it's the best one I've seen so far. I know some will say it's bad for pool...but it's not.

I have nothing against league and playing for fun, but make a movie about it and a movie about action with good money involved and players barking and it will blow the other movie away for who enjoys which. I hope it makes TV, at least as a doc. Johnnyt

I was there for that, it was fun to watch. I really thought he won more then that until you corrected me. :wink: The pit has not been the same since, for me anyway. :(

Wow .. first time I saw this. LOL, thanks for the link. I never noticed it before. And people ask why pool isn't as popular as golf. Go figure, I sure can't figure it out. :killingme:

Arriving late, the very first thing I saw at the 1st SBE I went to was what you described right here...Keith owning the pit was unreal and very entertaining....I consider myself extremely lucky to have seen that first-hand...

As far as the web series goes, I will probably watch it...

His once pristine lawn, as well as all other lawns had been reduced to a hepatitis ridden brown mess, even with hazmat crews cleaning it every hour. The stench in the air made the hairs in his nostrils curl and his ears rung with the sound of the flatulence coming from outside. Even in the streets people were slipping in excrement. The last thought of the man, as he put the gun to his temple, was that all he ever wanted was what he had in the beginning and now no amount of money could ever buy it back...

From what I've seen, on a scale of 1 to 10, Scooter is only about a weak 8 at any pool game...But he is a strong 12 at creating action !..He is not a "nut hunter" and he quite often uses bad judgement, in matching up. But he seems to have a strong pump, (ie; must pay his debts)..and will keep firing at the big $$$, even with a little the worst of it ...A smart gambler can do well following him around, if he knew for sure which way to bet ! ;)

I'll probably watch it, though I can't say that I'm interested in dealing with any Scooter-wannabes that the show might create.

I haven't seen anything about where the episodes will air. I assume that the show has not actually been picked up by a network and that they'll put 'em on YouTube or something?
