Who are the nicest and most friendly pro pool players in the US?

I would like to start off by saying that I have never met any of the pro players out there.

I was at the music city open one year, and seen my favorite player Johnny Archer.

Would have loved to meet him and talk to him, but was just too shy.

Seen Nick Varner while I was there too, but just too shy to even go over and say hi.

I am just curious who are some of the most friendly pool players out there (like the type of player that would not mind shooting with you just for fun and even giving you a few pointers at no charge).

I am not looking for a free lesson if that is what you might think. Just curious about who are some of the most friendly pro pool players that you have ever met?

I would go for mike Davis or Shaun Wilkie shuff is real easy to get along with too, as is Eberle.

Shit, guess I like everyone.

I've met Johnny and Nick and both were very friendly.

I met Nick Varner quite a few years ago

He seemed genuinely nice and friendly. Later watched Earl at an exhibition in Washington. He did not seem approachable. He seemed self centered so I kept to myself. Would love to talk to him about the game. I recently talked to a local S. Cal young pro player Jaden. (JADEN on AZ) He was very friendly. Hope to meet him in person and play a few games. Just met Richie Geiler last year in Seattle. Very nice man. Not sure if he is ranked as a pro, but he can still hit them good.

I'll second the nod to Eberle, have met him a few times in the Pool Room, very nice guy and approachable. Have met Rodney a couple of times and he was always real nice.

Brandon Shuff would hands down get my vote, based on my limited experience meeting pro level players.

Most are OK guys. There are of course a few bad apples. Then you have some that will be super nice to you until they realize they can't steal from you or get free a ride. Johnnyt
