How cool would it be if this game became the standard for professional pool - Call shot 10 ball on a 5x10 Diamond pro cut pockets?
Get rid of 9 ball already!
 
Stuart Pettman impressed on the 10' table a few years ago when he was the only player to run 100 balls in the 14.1 challenge. Haven't heard much about him since but I'd bet he would hard to beat in the bigfoot challenge if he was there.

There are a lot of good players on this planet that we don't know about. I've seen a couple of Aussies who came up to the Philippines and were tussling with some strong players and getting the money. Even in this country, there are some kids in small towns you don't want to run into. Johnny Archer told me a story about getting handed his ass against a young kid in Idaho once, when Johnny was at his peak.

Pretty sure they weren’t playing call shot, but I agree with your post.

In the WPA 10-ball rules, the 10-ball is only a win once all the other balls have been pocketed. So it would spot up and the shooter would continue.

In Europe I'm told they actually play by those rules. Not sure about Bigfoot.

Bigfoot plays whatever rules he want to play by. Seriously, would you want to get in a fight with that creature?

One in the front, two and three at the corners is pretty good protection from pattern racking and alternate break is even better protection. Texas Express 10-ball is the very best form of rotation pool and gave us a most deserving champion.

This event is near perfect, but given that there is a ref in every Bigfoot match, I don’t understand why rack your own is permitted.

that's a lot of racking for 1 person, especially on a 10'er. template rack helps with no funny business.

It's a ring game, it's Gambling....it's ALWAYS BEEN a winner breaks game....it dishes out allot of pain....it's good for ya :). I've racked 3 packs before, its not fun. But who said, when U ring it up, it's supposed to be ALL FUN. :grin-devilish::shrug::scratchhead::rotflmao1:

The Bigfoot Challenge is neither a ring game nor gambling (well except the sweat bets on the side).
