no, I didn't know you would refuse. I had to have a talk with myself for even offering because the thought of giving you and your "backers" ANY chance to get money from me is abhorrent. But going over the video again it is clear how terrible you are and how I handed you the set. I played a lot of good one pocket and a lot of terrible one pocket. You played decent one pocket but nowhere close to anything scary for a person my speed or above. You are not helpless but you are not nearly as good as you imply that you are.I did say an ahead wouldn’t have changed the outcome and it wouldn’t have — but I also said I have refused to entertain your subsequent offers over the years to play one.
I’ve told you this many times. So, again, your challenge is an empty one — you knew I’d refuse from the get-go. It’s just more hollow chest beating so you can puff up but feel nice and safe.

One thing is clear NO ONE who impartially watches this match and knows one pocket would ever conclude that I was getting coached based on my shot selection. What they would likely conclude is that given the crazy amount of scoring opportunities you gave up that I should have won the set fairly easily. Most of the games you won were ones that I simply sold out and allowed you to get more balls than you would have otherwise. There are hardly any instances where you had me trapped inescapably like good one pocket players do it.
You're a banger whose skills are not particularly great, average like the majority of players out there. You had to be dragged to the table the first time and for 13 years of your harassment and your backstabbing and your lies all you got was 2k out of 10k. And all you have to cling to is winning one set 9-6 against a guy who makes cases and loves pool. You're scared to play again and play an ahead set to see who really gets the cheddar when you can't rely on a small gang to jack with me.
If I had been coached or even if I had been slightly more prepared I would have DRILLED you. I have beaten better players than you can ever dream of being. But regardless of what might have been to the winners go the spoils so I am not denying that you played well enough to beat me and you earned the right to gloat about it. Nothing will ever change the fact that in the "big" match you got to the finish line first. I can always look at the game record of 10-8 between us but the 10k loss is the one that really counts.
What I never considered though was to USE the footage to make a case for CTE by using your poor play. Mainly because I am at my core a nice person and such a thought of combing through the match to pick out the many places where you flat out dogged shots that a player of your implied caliber should never miss and using them to point out that you would have likely been more accurate if you were using a good aiming system. And, while I jokingly said to Pat Fleming at the end of day one that a compilation video could be made from the match detailing what NOT to do and as I said it I was thinking of only my own mistakes, upon recent review I find that your mistakes add substantially to that proposed compilation.
So, I am hiring a friend who knows one pocket to go through and catalog the shots taken which are likely to be interesting to players around the world. We have plenty of GREAT world class one pocket on video but there aren't a lot if any analysis videos critiquing banger one pocket. I can point out my own aiming mistakes and my stroke mistakes and my strategy mistakes easily because I know what I was thinking and feeling and how I was using CTE at that time. Together with my friend we can analyze your failures and call out the CTE aiming that would have put you on the right line. I want to sincerely thank you for clinging to and harping on my play and telling me that I have no business telling anyone anything about how to play pool. Although I admittedly first had the petty thought that I would be motivated just to use this to troll upon reflection I see genuine value in going through and making videos that can be very helpful to others. And of course my logo will and Stan's logo (with his permission) will be prominently featured. The few times that you made great multi-rail banks will be contrasted with the consistency of Stan's multi-rail banks using CTE. I am actually looking forward to the results of this new project and the money spent on it will be marketing money well spent.
If you ever did step up to play then drilling you would be a great way to cap the drama but if it didn't happen it would still provide more footage to help others. Win or lose for me the pool community would win. Despite all of your BS stories and your 4 hours a day of practice you're a hack and the saddest part of all is that learning CTE would have likely allowed you to step up in class. Your example though of mocking "know it all" obstinance coupled with your poor play will serve others as a warning against ego-driven myopic thinking and self-delusional self-rating of one's abilities.
Thank you for providing us with that.
