The end that has the rack on the hook! A lot of our novice customers in here don’t know the difference and get confused by the foot spot, thinking that spot is where you set the cue ball on to break from.Do you need me to break this down for you so you can understand the difference between head and foot on a pool table that is identical at both ends?its clear to me you can't answer the question, so let me put it to you another way.
You walk into a pool room, check out the balls, take them over to a pool table, and set the balls down in the middle of the table. The table has no foot spot put on it yet, and there's no name plates on the rails, so which end are you going to rack the balls at, because the table don't have a ball return, it's all drop pocket.
Even though the end of the table where the rack is on the hook which is the end with the foot spot and the crosshairs clearly drawn, they still take the rack to the other end of the table and estimate where the head ball should be placed when they rack them, then they walk all the way around the table to put the rack back on the hook. Never ceases to amaze me!
