I drove over to Hot Springs,AR. today, it's only a Hop n Skip from my house, got there and told myself , LQQK for someone important because I never have met Ray, and low and behold, I saw this guy pointing with his fingers, and thought this must be Ray, aka"BigTruck", I said Ray while his back was turned and he turned around, I said this is Harcrow!, we both smiled and greeted each other with a handshake!

Ray is a cool dude, he LQQKed just like I thought he would, I helped him set up a few things for the NAPA Nationals Pool Tournament that is to be held this weekend, we played a set of "Two Shot Roll Out/Push" and he had the rules down pat, everything went really well, an afternoon well spent with BigTruck!

The Country Calvin Classic is going tobe an Old Schooler Style tournament June 24,25,& 26th, Two Shot Roll Out Rules from decades ago when pool was a shooters game, and the best man won, with wit, cunning, and extrordinary shot making, I hope all you guys get to make it or tune in to the " BigTruck Show on PoolActionTv" on the stream and watch, I'll try my best and make you all feel like your there in person, because I'll be talking with Ray as much as possible, and getting all the updates fast as I can, we have many old schoolers lined up to tell you stories that you have never heard before, It's going to be a BLAST!:thumbup:

Well the local poolhall closed yesterday in Gurdon,AR., it was open only nine months, the owner gave a go of it, but business just wasn't good enough to keep it open, we had a closing down 8-Ball tournament, I won it!, I ran the last four racks I played.

I called Charlie today, we had a good talk, he seemed very cheerful and was glad that I gave him a call, Charlie said that O'Bannion's would be having their 50th being in business 9-ball tournament this fall and a larger ADDED money to the tournament, so all is well, Scotty T. will be moved back to Monroe for good within 10 more days...Cat

Played the Krome 9-Ball tournament today in North Little Rock,Ar., I got beat to death, couldn't adjust to those Diamond Table rails, I won a set , then lost two sets, Lisa Marr beat me 7-2, she sure is a classy lady and a good player and Jim Sullivan from Arizona beat me 7-4, that guy played good, got out everytime he was supposed too!

I'm going to North Little Rock,AR. this weekend to play at Krome's Billiards, playing the 9-Ball Open on Diamond Tables, I have never hit a ball on one, should be interesting, I better adjust to the tables real fast!

Hu, driving down for the beer and having a good chat with you sounds good, can't make the trip this time , maybe this summer I can get down that way, the tournament in Lafayette is one that every poolplayer should experience at least once.

Looks like you are on a tear! If you took a notion to slide down to Lafayette next weekend I think,(weekend after this) there will be somewhere around $40,000 up for grabs between a tiny purse and large Calcutta. Not only that but I'll drive two and a half hours to buy you a beer. Can't get a better offer than that!!

Well I Had something come up at the last minute and couldn't make the Benton tourney, wanted to go but $hit happens, did go to Shooters tourney in Texarkana,Ar. Tues. night, beat Jerry Blackstock on the winners & lossers side , but still finishes one out of the money.,
Shooters in Texarkana,Ar. has $150.00 added next Tues. night, will be there for sure!, am going to Camden,Ar. tourney tonight!

Well I took four players with me to Camden,Ar. tonight and we all got into the losers bracket from jump street, but I managed to come out with the win.
