Eric, a little update.. I pm'd Jerry F about rep and he replied in part: "I do not know what limitations there are but I will see if Mike has any time available to look into it." He referenced they had a lot going on, that they were up to their arses in gators.

Just something to consider when the time arrives: it's very often accurate that the first offer is the best offer. I guess it reasons that the person is the most interested or anxious. Of course, a counter proposal is always in order...but you know that.

When a poster maxes out rep, his placement amongst the "maxed" is determined soley alphabetically. Once a few more get maxed, maybe we can huddle together and attempt to get admin to re-rack or something.

Between matches, one of the players was rolling a cue on the table. A cue maker told him that was not the correct method. Put the butt of the cue on the bed of the table, the shaft on the cushion, and roll. If the tip moves in a horizontal line, it is straight. If it moves in a wave pattern, it isn't.

So it was an educational day.

After looking at that big table all day, a nine footer looked like a toy.
But you already know that.

I attended a snooker tournament a couple of weeks ago. First time I had been to one. Just as bad as the pool tournaments they show on ESPN. Front row could see the table. Other rows could see heads. The back row was raised but was too low and too far back to give a clear view. Even a school gym with bleachers would have been a better venue. Made one long for the British bear pits.

I was sitting beside the guy who trains Ontario snooker referees. He told me about a situation that arose earlier in the tournament. They were playing the miss rule. A player was snookered and he scratched. His opponent asked the ref to indicate where the ball would be if it was replaced, before deciding whether to put the player back in or to take ball in hand. Big discussion ensued as to whether or not this was allowed. It is.

If you can't unload the real estate, you could convert it into a maryjane grow-op. Do your bit to reduce imports from Canada. Obama needs all the help he can get.

I would point out that the sons of Steve Davis and Stephen Hendry are knocking on the doors of snooker tournaments. If you want your get of sire to be out there competing, bringing honor and fame to the Fatboy bloodline, you better get busy.

I don't know about this Friends thing. Are you sure you have any? I took a one line potshot at you and my rep points went up 50%. I now know the magic formula for catching up to you, but Fatboy will always be ahead of Scaramouche in the rep list.
