Yeah, they can get pricey... but as I said, you can find them at a reasonable price at some dealers. Look for those that deal in antique firearms, there are some online auctions where you can get a deal as well.........

I'm not sure of the value on the pistol Eric, some where between 15 to 24k. I've not had it appraised. It shoots great. You can find them on line for sale, just google 1873 colt saa, all kind of stuff comes up. I've seen some for under 2k which is a good price.... And, I'd love to meet you as well. Time will tell I guess........

Hi Fatboy - on the west coast, I think we have too many Ernesto 3 7/8" pockets. I agree with you 4 5/8" are best.
