    Raymond Ceulemans vs Cosmo chalk

I heard good words about Comso but I can't testify. However I used the Ceulemans on many occasions. It's from the same factory that produces Masters, Buffalo, etc chalk. However, in Masters you have good ones and less good ones. The Ceulemans one seems more quality controlled and every cube I...

CHAMPIONSHIP TOUR EDITION CHALK by Silver Cup

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-BLUE-GREEN-CHAMPIONSHIP-TOUR-EDITION-CHALK-BEATS-PREDATOR-CUE-CHALK-/261135870660?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3ccce92ac4 I found this and I know Silver Cup is "poor" chalk to say the least. But has anyone been able to try out this so called new formula? Every...

    Composite series by Cuttlefish Cues

That could explain it, but not the low weight. Around 4 oz is unplayable for snooker. My first idea is that it's a jump cue but with a low diameter somehow. Care to elaborate conetip?

I like the composite idea but 11,5 mm max? that's thin...

First One - Earl Strickland by Meucci circa 1985

Damn, how did I miss this. I wanted to pay well over what it has been sold for. If anyone knows one up for sale, let me know.

How do you think of this amazing table?

It's only a suggestion, but for the pockets, I'd say take a look at the Chevillotte's tables. They offer standard plastic pockets, but they also have leather modern shaped pockets. Those leather ones are awesome and modern at the same time, check them out.

    Zan tips

strange enough, I have a positive feedback. It's the best tip I have ever played with. Well, I bought the soft tip, and indeed it also felt a tad harder than a soft, but it had no mushrooming even after 6 months of intensive play. It gripped the cueball insanely well. To be honest, I'm surprised...

Boriz Cues - Made in the Philippines

That's true but for 60 dollars.... even in US cues your choices are few.

Boriz Cues - Made in the Philippines

I'm glad to have helped. A tiny suggestion from my part, if you have a 59' or 60' cue, you may want to consider getting the one inch longer 314 because the original shaft is also an inch longer. I'm not making advertisements, but as an easy reference, I know Seyberts can provide the longer 314...

Boriz Cues - Made in the Philippines

I own a Boriz cue. I knew it was from Pampanga but I wanted to see how good work was. Well, the butt looks decent. Inlays and overlays are pretty well taken care of. Not the best, not the worst. The cue is 60' in total, so that's a bit of a difference. The only thing bothering on my cue was the...

Looking for a Predator Pool cue bumper

Ah you have to find what cue it is exactly. Because I can tell you that the Mezz ones are different. I used to have the SE-12 and it's not the same thread. I regular screw bumper with the cat on it, I can hook you up with, but it won't fit the Mezz SE.

    Predator BK2 durability and reliability

Does the BK2 break well? -Yes, without a doubt. Everyone has their own preference but it breaks well. My personal Favorite is the Mezz Power Break 2. Your question was how durable is the BK2. Well to my opinion, I have tested all except for the OB, the BK2 is a bit "weaker". My shaft warped...

Anyone tried the New OB Line of cues

Royce do you expect to launch a series with more decoration (inlays, points, etc....) on them? I like the way the OB shafts play but these new cues look (forgive me for saying) "simple".

Sloppy and incompetent work by Jim Pierce, poor customer service

Well, I respect your view. But most of the stuff you listed can be fixed or replaced by Mike Wheeler. I'd be going nuts about the hourglass shape because that's part of the forearm, and well it can't really be replaced without actually saying you still own the "same" cue. The entire butt could...

Sloppy and incompetent work by Jim Pierce, poor customer service

I'm just trying to take a none-biased look at it. edit: I checked the pics, but I meant do you have any "before" pic that show the daylight not passing on the forearm?

Sloppy and incompetent work by Jim Pierce, poor customer service

Out of curiosity, can you post the pics before and after you sent it to mr. Pierce? I'm curious to have them compared.

    best break cue

I'm currently in the process of ordering a custom Anvil at Mike's. But I have to say I tested many break cues, including Sledgehammer, BK2, X-breaker... I have to admit that I hit the balls with more precision with a BK2 because of the taper. But I generated most power in the Mezz PBII with DI...

    Zeus Cues

Since it's more of a higher end cue from Zeus, we spent close to 746 dollars on it.
