FWIW, I owned a Predator 5K3 which employs the same C4 technology in the butt as the Blak series. I also own their lowest priced sneaky pete. The sneaky pete just has a really dull hit to it. No... but I do know they use the "C4" construction in the butt, the same as the 5K series. I had a 5K3 and the feel of the hit was great... but the predator shafts just aren't for me. I will say this, if you like predators... the 5K series is great. The feel of the hit is really nice. I just didn't feel I had enough control of the cue ball with a predator. Everything was too unpredictable. Might as well have been playing the lottery. I have a Predator Sneaky Pete that I keep...
