lil' d is getting the 8 ball and the last two....if lil' d makes the 8 ball at anytime or 1 of the last 2 balls left on the table, or the 10 ball,(with a legal hit ), lil' d wins the game

They playing 10 ball? Sounds like lil'D should get the money this time.. That's a pretty decent spot. The spot is not so big if they are playing 9 ball. Any updates?
 
Josh has been down there for a minute now, heard he has been rolling up some big scores. I haven't put my ear to the grapevine in the past couple of weeks but he was supposedly over 50K to the good down there (MS and LA) last I heard.

I think D should get this money but Josh has no quit and when his eyes are right he has a big gear too.

Wait, so, the last 2 balls on the table... you don't have to make, regardless of their number,
right? You already won if there are 2 balls left.

Wouldn't that mean if you make the 8/9 on the break, you only need to sink the 6 to win?
Cuz the 7/10 will be the last 2 left on the table.

If the 8/9 are made on the break and the 7/10 are the last two on the table, the 7 is the money ball. If you sink the 6 you still have to legally sink one of the last two on the table to win.

For the non gamblers out there:)... A very important distinction to the "last 2" or "last 3" is they have to be made in turn. Not on a combo. So if you are getting the last 2, and every single ball is on the table, if you pocket the 8 on a combo you don't win. There has to be ONLY 2 balls total remaining on the table prior to your shot. Now, if either of them goes in on your shot you win. That's the difference between the 8 ball and the last 2.

you could make them on a combo, actually. One getting the last 3, balls in line: 7-9-8...you make that combo and you win.

I would say it: there can be no 'last 2' balls on the table, if there are 3 or more balls on the table.
