It's nice to buy yourself a welcome home present. It will bring you many hours of enjoyment for a very long time. Sounds like you earned it. Just wondering, who is delivering your table?

Hey Ray, I'm glad to see the table is finally goign to be delivered. And I will be at the house to receive it. So excited. I will be busy getting the garage ready as much as possible before it comes in ;)

JE54, MOJOE-Thanks guys for the kind words. It's been a long journey and I'm coming home without a job, but at least I will have my Pro-AM

Jay-Moe from A-Tex Billiards and his crew out of Austin, TX is going to deliver the table. A great guy with a wealth of knowledge about these tables who came recommended from the Diamond factory. It's been a dream of mine to have a 9ft. table in my house since 2002. Since 2002 between the military and my contracting job I have been overseas in various locations around the world. Well, I quit my contracting job and bought my dream table. Now it's time to play some pool. I'll start another thread in a couple weeks when my home room is finished.

Thanks Guys, John

John,
First I'd like to thank you for your service to our country! Second I'd tell you that you are in for a treat! I had a really nice Gold Crown II for about 15 years, before that a National Top Line 9'. About a year ago I decided to sell

my Gold Crown and replace it with a Diamond. I was very lucky and found a great deal on a beautiful used 9' Diamond Pro, with the Matching Diamond light. The next day I had a buyer for my Brunswick from a Craigs list ad I'd

placed. The timing was perfect, out with the old and in with the new on the same day. I had my friends at A+ Some Assembly Required, Dave Thompson & crew, set up my Diamond for me since my back will no longer allow me to

do this work myself. They did a wonderful job and I only wish I'd made the switch many years ago! Don't get me wrong, the Gold Crown was a great table. It still had the original Manhattan cushions and played as good as any

Gold Crown in the country, but the Diamond spots it the 7 & the breaks! It's a wonderful table, one I've wanted since Greg first came out with them and before actually. I've known Greg Sullivan since the early 80's and when he

decided to go into the pool table business he spent as much time as possible talking to players and getting their ideas and feedback on what would make the Diamond table stand out from the competition and be the best possible

professional pool table on earth. He continues to make improvements as deemed necessary to make the Diamonds even better. I think he's nailed it! I'll admit I don't use my table nearly as much as I'd like to due to back

problems, but every minute I spend playing on my table is a joy! I'm sure you'll feel the same way when you have your own Diamond to play on! Enjoy!

John, hope you make it to town sometime soon, would be great to see you.....shoot me a PM or call......as always, you have a place to stay if need be.....

Welcome home.. Congrats on the new table. I've had Moe put some tips on my cue and if he does as good as he works on cues, then you have nothing to worry about.
