Lou made it clear he wouldn't travel for the rematch.
That salient fact must've slipped John's mind, what with all the horse dung up there.
Then a polite NO is all Lou has to say.

John doesn't want the bet - otherwise he wouldn't have made his conditions "non-negotiable". He assumes Lou won't dance to his tune, and Lou shouldn't.
John's real play here is to set "non-negotiable" conditions that Lou will naturally refuse - then he can crow for the next year (or 10) that he backed Lou down.
You know what they say about wrestling with pigs, Lou - especially rabid ones.

Not too sure that is relevant in a CTE vs Non-CTE fight to the death these guys are in.
Who is really worried about what kind of safe CTE helps you play?
BIH on a miss? Brutal.
I think Colin is on the money here.
Who can run out with their technique?
It may appear self serving to respond to this Dave, but perfect analysis of what is at the heart of the matter! Not too sure that is relevant in a CTE vs Non-CTE fight to the death these guys are in.

You use the small sample when it's the only sample that exists.Come on, you can't use that small of a sample when determining the outcome lol. If Ko and Shane run into each other at the Open will you give me SVB + 2 games?
From memory, the bad blood started over aiming methodologies, CTE vs something. LOL Whatever it is that Lou dribbles the odd ball in with.Lou isn't going to play John in a rotation game. He has some brains. Besides this isn't a CTE vs NON- CTE battle. It's just a bad blood match up
Not wanting to eliminate defensive games Chris, but our sport sadly lacks a purely offensive game.
Golf, darts, bowling, archery, shooting etc are purely offensive. Cue sport games offer no such option.
It's way past time such options were trialed, as what is on offer is clearly not popular as a TV sport.

A 10-ahead set in 1 pocket could potentially take an eternity, especially at the pace they played at last time. Not sure that is good for either contestant, given the potential expenses for travel and accommodations.
Aside from that I will simply add three words, that those in the know (or with access to Google search) will understand well.
Dunning Kruger Effect
Pretty sure I didn't run more than 2 balls........
Luckily you only need 8 to win a game.![]()
CRJ,Colin,
In the games you mention, you don't "interact" with your opponent. When you bowl, he's done, and his pins are 'washed" away. In darts, he take his darts out before you shoot. Same in archery same in shooting. There is nothing you can "defend" against unless you "shoot" your opponent![]()
Yup.Dunning Kruger Effect

I don't assume anything. I simply put out what I want to do and how much I want to play for. If Lou has emotional reasons for not wanting to play that's up to him. The way I see it is that the majority of people feel that he is a lock to win. So if practically free money isn't enough to travel for a few days then it's not on me.
Be careful though how far you go with the insults Pat. Mike made it perfectly clear about the tone he wants to see in this thread.
1) Who cares how long the match takes for $20k? If you take the purse and divide it by the total number of games they play, it'll STILL be WAY more per game than a HUGE majority of the posters here have ever played for - guaranteed.
2) Lou's response was bizarre. Bizarre to the max. He's clearly the better player by a solar system. Lou's recent post of his 100-something ball 14.1 was very smooth and talented. You can give John 50 years and he wouldn't run balls like that. Forget PJ's MR reply/analysis -- that's the "stupid analyzing the bizarre." If John asked Lou to play at the top of K2, Lou SHOULD be insta-calling and making phone calls to hire the sherpas. Who the hell cares WHERE the last match was played, are you frickin' KIDDING me?!?!?!?!!?!??? If I ran out like Lou and John chirped a $20k bet and listed VERY reasonable "non-negotiables," I'd basically be telling my wife to not expect me around the house too much between now and the match and to book my flight asap. If John wants the match to take place in Mozambique, Lou should make sure his passport is up to date and learn the pops and clicks it takes to ask for a water and where the bathroom is at. Unreal.
3) Lou is clearly a heavy favorite -- what is the line if this goes off? People think John has ZERO chance to win and that can't be true. If someone gives me a REAL line that reflects the REAL difference in ability, I'd like to bet on John.
Lou's post was chicken-shittified to the abso-effing-lute max. Just sayin'.
Did you warn Stan when he had a pop at satori?
You've jumped the gun:smile::smile::smile:Wrong thread. 'merica!!!!!
