2016 Bigfoot tourney at DCC

Im 20k+looser last 2 yrs at dcc on ghost vs morris and orcollo on 10ftr sky is invited to play same way...get it togther

I'd be surprised if Sky doesn't beat the 10-ball ghost.

Mind you, I'm assuming BIH after the break, and 4.5 inch pockets.

10 ft table whatever it has ....
No pattern rack
Rack your own wooden rack
10 ahead once u start no stopping
Break wide open bih clean the table...
I live an hour and a half away I don't have any plans for going if somebody wants to bet... he can play... Or I might take a select few. Applicants

The size of the pockets is very important, IMO.
There was a trap 5x10 at the Rack in Detroit....about 3.5....even the great players lost
their money getting 11 tries....(however, no BIH after the break)

Now.....with Sky...I don't think he's a staking proposition....
...but I would bet on the side on him.

pt....might be there

The diamonds arent gaff I haent booked a winner on em yet

When Dennis played the 10-ball ghost, he was not permitted to make the ten out of sequence, meaning no combos, caroms or tens on the break. That actually makes it quite a bit tougher.

With those rules, I think Sky would be about 50/50 to beat the ghost on the ten footer.

Not true...combo all u want till no balls are on the table

I have played on a Diamond that had pockets not much more than four inches..
....with a deep shelf.
...not a private table, it was in a tournament.
So the particular table means a lot, to me.

Back in the action days, there were a lot of players that could beat the ghost at 9-ball...
...on an un-shimmed Gold Crown.
There were probably a thousand players that could skunk the ghost on a good day.

It wasn't easy being a ghost when the game was more popular.

Seems I recall a video out there of Rodney playing the 10 ball ghost. I can't find it on youtube.

Can someone post a link to it please?

Well here it is, our sixteen players for the next Bigfoot tourney. I know that I always say it's the best field yet, but this time I'll let you decide. I'm pretty jazzed up for this one, even the first round matches will look like the finals in most tournaments.

Shane, Dennis O., Darren, Niels, Kevin Cheng (U.S. Open champ), Ko Pin Yi, Justin B., Mike D., Efren, Francisco, Alex, Jayson, Morra, Carlo, Lee Van and Ruslan, the Russian.

Try to pick a winner from this field! Just remember there is always the possibility that a player will be unable to come for one reason or another. At this time they are all pretty solid and I wouldn't be surprised if they all come, but sometimes life gets in the way and someone can't make it. I'm pretty happy about the quality of this field. How about you?

I told Greg today that it's going to be packed in the Accu-Stats arena every day! Be there or be square.

Jay we are using the Accu-Rack 10ball templates in New Jersey this week at the "make it happen" event. would love to bring some with "Big Foot" graphics to Derby for the players to use :)

No disrespect at all but Efren no longer belongs to this, it's actually sad :frown:

They had Efren all but sitting in a rocking chair drooling on himself over in Onepocket.org, then the silly guy doesn't realise he's washed up, and wins the whole thing.
That happened in this last year!
He may not win, but there is no way you can count him out of anything just yet.

In short race formats, he can still hold his own, especially in one pocket.

In a field of killers like this one, however, I'm afraid he doesn't have a chance.

He's my favorite player of all time so I'll definitely still be rooting for him.
