Thanks for that!!! I have DAZN too and am watching now. Honestly, I don't know why I pay for Matchroom. Yeah it's cheap, but considering the free content they put out on youtube and that much of the content goes on DAZN and now this BS, I'll probably be canceling (don't watch much snooker). Just doesn't make sense, why I need to watch matchroom content on DAZN...Anyways, thanks again, at least I'm watching it and one of my subscriptions works.
Would you report if the matchroomlive stream works today (last day), or only the DAZN does? Thanks.

Hard to believe, but I don't think I've watched a single match of FSR before. Has he always shot this quickly?

It's interesting that in a tournament so focused on defensive play, that two of the most aggressive/offensive type players will likely make the final. Soufi and He... presuming He continues at current pace.

This is quite interesting. The German wikipedia has a lot more information than the USA wikipedia for pool. From that Sufli article linked above, I saw there was a link for the 2011 WC. That page has all the players, the bracket, the prize money, etc. On the USA site, there is no such equivalent I could find, and instead only a main WPA WC page that has all the winners in a chart, but not info per year.

I'm so surprised FSR played that 8 in the left pocket instead of the right.
He's all out of sorts this match, worst I have ever seen him play by far. Not sure I even remember him playing what I would call a bad match in the last 1.5 years. Since this is the first time you have seen him it would definitely be worth finding and watching one of his previous matches from this tournament, or any others from recent times. Very impressive player in all areas and night and day different from this match.

This is the most exciting World Pool Championship I've ever sweated as a virtual railbird. From the beautiful venue at Targi Kielci in Kielci Poland to the children wearing red and white rooting for their home team pros to listening to calm music in the background while the matches are in progress to even Matchroom's signature water bottles by the player's corner. This was a first-class production, and I am totally impressed and in awe to see pool shine so brightly.

Best of all, I have learned about some new players. Yes, seeing Shane Van Boening lose on the hill-hill was disappointing to me as an American. I always root for my home team. It does seem that some of the player that attended the Derby City Classic and then flew to Poland were not as sharp as they usually are in such a high-profile pool championship.

I'm really enjoying Muhammad Soufi from Syria. He shoots pool fast and furious like it's league night and he's shooting on a bar table. Something about this kid has my attention.

I will forever have a soft spot in my heart for Mario He after he was sanctioned by the WPA for taking his blood pressure medicine. Yeah, yeah, I know the whole story and don't want to go through it again, but the way he took it on the chin, never talking smack about WPA, and then playing in as many events as he could, to include here in USA, I like that guy a lot. If he wins, I'll be happy. He's a real trouper and very much liked by his peers. He really is a teddy bear aka "The Panda."

I don't know much about Wu Kun-lin from Taiwan, though I tried to read up on him. Matchroom didn't seem to give him much publicity as they did the other competitors on Facebook. He's soon to be 29 this month and plays right-handed. Never underestimate the power of our Asian contingent of pool players.

And Francisco Sanchez Ruiz had a banner year in 2022, and it looks as if he's hitting 2023 with the same power. He's the one to watch. If I was an odds maker, I'd have him as the favorite to win. I never tire of his enthusiasm.

This is, by far, the best World Pool Championship—heck, best pool event I've ever seen. I can't wait to see who wins. Whoever Taka Images is, these photos he took for Matchroom really capture the spirit of the entire event. Viva la Poland!

Very nice post and words about the players. I hadn't seen those pictures. At first I thought they were screenshots of the stream, but they definitely have the professional photographic depth of field and framing. Yes, Wu seems to get overshadowed a lot by the Ko brothers and Chang.

You can watch at any of the links below, and there are usually three different streams to try within each of the links so if one isn't streaming perfectly there are lots of others available and most are going to work perfectly.

Millions of people use these sites every week without problem, and I and others I know have used them for many years without problem. That said, last year somebody on here said they got a virus from one of them. My thoughts are that if you aren't internet illiterate and have a good antivirus/antimalware (and a pop up blocker would be nice to have too, everybody should have one anyway) and don't do stupid stuff like click on the pop ups to go to whatever other pages they are going to take you to (it is safe to click on the "x" to remove them but don't click on the body of any pop up overlays), then you will never have any problems, but use at your own risk.

Much appreciated!
