Well here it is, number 4000. An unofficial milestone, and it's been a lot of fun.
Just so you'll know, it was always my intention to inject a little humor into the forum, either to lighten the mood in a drama filled thread, or to make what I thought was a meaningful point about something under discussion. There were many, many times that I pushed the boundaries of NPR, but in the main I hope that I helped more than I hurt. If I have bruised anyone's feelings, I sincerely apologize.
You folks are great. There are only three people on this forum whom I would not want join me on a deserted island, and they know who they are. The rest of you are welcome at my house, anytime.

So, without further ado, I wish to announce my retirement from AZB. I'm done.
Mike, you have a great place here. Keep up the good work. Mr. Wilson, you've always been fair. Chuckelz65. Who the hell is this guy?
Anyway, so long everyone. I'm headed out to the golf course to soak up some vitamin D.

Speaking of deserted Islands. I was on a deserted Island with Tramp and another once.

The third person found a magic lamp, rubbed it and out popped a Genie, thereby granting
us 3 wishes.

The third person wished that he was back home again. Then it was my turn. I too wished that I was back home.

Then, it was Tramps turn for a wish. He thought long and hard. He said to the Genie, "Gee, its going to be lonely here without my friends, I wish they were back".

Whatta Buddy eh.

Tramp is catching up here. I too am off, like a Jewish foreskin. Only I'm heading out to the swamp to decrease the numbers of Northern Pike.

Hope you get a Tee Shirt Pal, I never got mine.

Jerry Forsythe gave me an address where to pick up my free Harley. That one cost me 2 weeks in the hospital.

I've always enjoyed reading your posts, T.S., you're certainly one of my favorites.

While I don't know who you are in "real life," I'd certainly like to play a round of golf with you some day. I've certainly played more golf than pool the last 12 years.

I hope Tramp isn't gone for good. He's the poster I most look forward to reading from. Some of his posts have caused me to cry with laughter, literally. And every one of his posts bring a smile to my face.

Just one guy, spreading laughs and smiles like the plague. I don't know him, but if he ever vacates to Grassington, ill be sure to buy him a beer or two...maybe a T-shirt if he's lucky...
