I'm sure everyone here would agree that you play better when you feel more comfortable, and there are a lot of things that factor into that feeling. I wanted to open this thread as an open discussion about food (or drink) that is particularly good at making you feel comfortable for a match.
For me, I play the worst when I have overstuffed myself with really terrible food like McDonald's, followed closely by having an empty, growling stomach. I have felt the best shooting when I eat something light like a salad. Obviously people have different responses to alcohol, but I was going to try to steer away from that discussion on this thread (at least at first).
What are foods of choice for the players on here when you have a big match? Do you keep powerbars in your case, and how do you deal with long tournaments where you need to eat in between matches? I'm interested in other people's secrets.
