Good morning everyone.
Yes, but one party is a member of the legitimate world of pro pool and the other has tired but failed to latch on to the world of pro pool.
Will every would-be stakehorse that is unable to come to terms with one or more pro players be given a platform with ABR even if they fall outside the boundaries of pro pool?
In what sense is a failed contract between an out-of-industry entrepreneur and a pro player the business of the pool media? In addition, why should I care what the billiard media thinks of this contract?
Maybe I'm missing the boat here, but this coverage doesn't seem to make sense.
I'm always for an unbiased Fifth Estate. That is the way it should be.
Unfortunately, when it comes to presidential politics, the Fourth and Fifth Estates have gone wild. :embarrassed2:
I'm glad that pool's Fifth Estate is disseminating information, whether we agree or disagree, so that people can form opinions based on the horse's mouth rather than what they heard through the grapevine.
Too often, folks may prejudge a situation without knowing the full story. That happens quite often in the pool world. :frown:
it's funny that people will talk about a guy, put him down, but not want to let him get on the record telling the story from his viewpoint.
Why should any of you be trying to censor David and tell him what he can and cannot put on his podcast?
Let it get done and be part of the record and then this episode will fade away.
You forgot...."and when possible, we like to give the listeners what they ask for."
Thanks. Although I didn't like French's commentating, I certainly would like to hear his side of the story. The interview is complete and is being proccessed as you read this.
Will be posted in about an hour...I will update this thread

Yeah, I just finished listening to the French interview....very interesting.John does like to talk.
But wow, this just got a whole lot more interesting.
Somebody been fibbing and it might surprise you who it is/was.
If you can't tell this guy is lying you're not a good judge of character.
If you can't tell this guy is lying about the Ko match you're not a good judge of character.
Yeah, that point isn't totally clear. But in the Dennis interview, Dennis indicated that French was going to also give Dennis 10k, but it seemed like maybe Dennis hadn't yet received it. Someone I'm sure can ask either Dennis or French about this.John keeps saying once he gets his 6.5K back but at one point says he gave SVB and DO 10K each. Shane returned his money, why is he not going after the 10K from Dennis?
There are just so many holes in this.
I think he's being honest. Sorry. So you believe that French backed the Steinway match? I don't.
EDIT: Please list specifically what you think he lied about.
