If $100-$5000 is a sweat bet, what do you call it if its over $5k? I think i'd be doing a lot of sweating for $5k!!!!!!!!!

I really hope Shane will win the race-to-100, so we can without too much mumbling start to wait for the Shane - Orcullo match..

Heh, okey, sorry, first things first..

Hahaha, some of you guys are funny. Shane may want to stop playing Alex now before the game gets tougher and tougher. You sound like Alex is an afterthought.

We'll see, but the fact that he is still playing Alex may be a sign that the action is drawing thin, which eventually happens when you torture everyone.

Saw it coming

just got off the phone with the sleeve and for all of you who said alex is broken down and mentally beat we have and update! alex just beat shane in 10 ball 2 sets at the j.o.b in nashville! they played races to 11 and alex won both 11 - 6 the race to 100 is gonna be epic!

Anyone who knows pool who watched Shane playing Hennessee could have seen this coming. At times, Shane appeared to need the weight fro Hen.

I want Shane to win but he better know Alex will not let his game slip a notch as Shane did at DCC.

BTW, Nasty, thanks again for the top notch work you guys did. It is appreciated.

Posted on Southern Billiards forum, Alex beat Shane out of 15K last night.

Just a thought, but maybe some of the reason Alex has his nose open for SVB is because Alex got screwed with the no saver at the DCC 10-ball ring game. Maybe, but then again, maybe not. Alex would probably have his nose open for anyone that is showing him this much action. I'm guessing Alex hasn't been in this much action in years.

Lets be clear on that match! Anybody that watched that match can tell you that Hennessy played awesome. There isnt much you can do when your opponent plays as good as you do. What im saying is if Hen plays at that level no matter who he plays is going to have problems.

why is alex's nickname "the sleeve"?

Alex is the "lion."

Adam Behnke who has been traveling to tournaments with Shane is "the sleeve." He said he got that nickname because he was wearing shirts with long sleeves while playing pool.

Adam "The Sleeve" Behnke got his nickname through the Chat room during our stream of the Qlympics because everytime he played that week he was in a long sleeved shirt when everyone else wore tshirts. I forget who came up with it but it stuck.

Personally I think both the kid and the nickname are the nuts.

Has anyone confirmed what actualy happened last night, ie number of sets and what was the race to, I do not really care about the money.

Thanks
-don

Jon definitely played "jam up" during that first set. It was almost like he could have beaten Shane even.

One thing I would mention. When I am going to play a tournament, I do not like to practice prior to the tournament with anyone playing in the tournament. I believe if I do, that this allows that person "to get comfortable" with my style of play. I like to keep them in suspense.

If Alex is playing Shane now, he may become "comfortable" with Shane, (if he hasn't already) and be a force to reckon with when the race to 100 comes around. JMO
