anyone else hear anything about this? a friend was telling me about it last night, they had just gotten back from brass tap in nc and were telling me that she was spotting some local 6 games on the wire in a race to 10, I didn't get to ask if it happened while they were there or if they were talking about when they were there. Anyone heard about this, is it true or just bs?

they were telling me they started out at 2k and she won one then he won one then they rasied it to 4k and the local won 3 straight sets. Again not sure if this is true or pure fiction.

Hmm

There are lots of very good players there so I'd love to hear more. I played there many years b4 moving to Chicago. I was there visiting just before the 4th of July great place to hang out..

This was posted by "theblemishedone" in the "Where are they now?" thread, maybe it is Kelly Fisher not Allison?

Tony Watson has gotten back on the green felt recently. From what I understand, he busted Kelly Fisher and her backer for five figures in the Carolinas.

Dunno if his legal issues are truly done with, but I'm sure he will be @ the U.S. Open and/or Derby City."

I'd be more inclined to believe in Kelly playing a big set before Alison. Either way, it had to hurt.

When I see pros at the hall I thought they are just being friendly with the fans. You mentioning gambling and professional pool player in the same sentence is just noise.

i'm not sure what you mean by that. are you just being sarcastic? the reason i ask is i have had the pleasure to watch more than a few pros play for some cash here in GA. especially around last year's gem city classic. they were friendly sure, but they were betting too.

I was told Kelly was up there . And i know that she'll play for that cash .. Just might be her . But if she's playing TW given a spot to him .Then that is called money to burn,,

It was Kelly Fisher

The game took place a week ago Thursday. Her opponent was a local dude who's not a very strong player but loves to jack it up, ( I heard he has lots of dough to burn). He played Tony Watson and Watson was giving up 6 or 7 games in a race to 10. Watson won several K.

I was there. It was not Allison, it was Kelly Fisher. Kelly was given up 6 games on the wire going to 10, Alternate Breaks, No 3 foul rule. They started out at 2k a set. Kelly won the first two sets, then the bet was raised to 4k a set and the rest of the night was not good for her. She quit 12k down. She did say she will play again when she gets back from Asia.

Tony was giving 7 on the wire going to 10. They split the first to sets and then Tony got into gear and put him into a coma for 7k.
