American thoughts on who IS or WAS the best Canadian player

Gerry Watson was the best Canadian I have seen.

Paul Potier never impressed me although he had some decent finishes in some events.

John Horsfall, best ever easily that I've seen. Tremendous talent, though I'm not sure where he went, or what he did with it.

I agree...saw him play in Springfield, Oregon...at the time, all I could think was he was the best player I'd ever seen. Evidently, he quit playing?

Horsfall and Stan T gets my vote. Alex P is by far the best when it comes to the amount of wins.

John Bear - Wasn't he a national snooker champion of Canada? He could play world class nine ball as well.

Lunchmoney

Wayne Gretzky
Wrong kinda stick, but he is a pretty good football player for a Canuck.
Someone told me that Jason R from Calgary was a force to be reckoned with tho.
Cliff T would be my choice for best ever, Alex P best now. I don't think nationality makes a difference as long as you're a Canuck.
Wasn't there a native fella from Winterpeg who had a pretty good game going? Can't remember his name now, sorry.

Have to agree John Horsfall was one of the best I have seen from Canada who had success is the States against the top American players.

Do they need to live in Canada ?, be born in Canada ? what are the guidlines for this bit of chatter
