An Open Discussion about an improper Banning

Well folks, we had our touchy-feelie session and have properly aired our grievances ala Festivus. Hopefully there are no hard feelings or at least equally balanced hard feelings. May each of us be as adept in our caring as we have become in our despising. Let's call it even. All are properly wounded or dead and now it's time to heal. We seem to have lost a few members on the battlefield but I am confident they will return.

How about we end the negative? End the needling? End the useless bickering and criticism that we can all see everyday in our real lives if we really need that sort of thing?

If you feel a little cranky, the best way to fight it is to wait. Just wait. Go polish the car or water the plants. Go pet the dog. Take a nap, have a cold one, but whatever you do, just wait.

I'm watching Turning Stone on the big screen so life's not all bad :D
I'm good with everything and I just hope "baiting" becomes a bannable offense .
Other than that I'm good. Stevie Moore is up on AZBTV and life is good

I hope you find the time to answer my question

send me a text if you have any ideas Spider, I'm not scared.

Viffer is fine with his, his security level is balanced and healthy - I'm a bit offended that you haven't made me one. Is there not enough content, should I post more often?

What could be the topic? Who would it be with, wedge, mark, lou, pj, or the multitude of other "dislike rs" that like to poke fun and run. LoL

hmmmm, send me a text if you have any ideas Spider, I'm not scared. ;)

I'll work on being a better member of the community. Thanks for the lecture, dad.

Well, at least Viffer hasn't complained about his video

No, what we have now is great strength of feet!

Careful for what you wish for CJ. I am sure that Spidey would be more than happy to oblige you.

As per your claim re being able to bring many of the Pro Players to AZ if you were a Moderator. I don't know what you being a Mod has to do with it, unless they would automatically feel more protected.

Instead of talking all the time, maybe it's time to step up to the plate and prove that you can do just that.

I am not disputing that you couldn't persuade a few to drop in on occasion.

Maybe you should be a Nike, "And Just Do It".

Can you, Spider, can you do one on my stalkers? That would be HILARIOUS!!! :

You took that post seriously? OMG!!!

I ask him nicely didn't I?

Maybe he can make one of people constantly stalking me on here. LoL

No CJ, I knew that you were joking.

That's why I said be careful for what you wish for.

Dave may be designing one for you at this very moment.

Or were you joking about being able to bring Pro Players to the board. Cause sometimes it is difficult to tell when you are serious or just blowing smoke. With you, it can be a fine line at times.

Cool if you think that you can, and no biggy if you can't. AZ will continue without the pros.

Brian, I don't know if you were half tongue in cheek re Public warnings. Like I said, I am all for a Warning being public and the reason for it. That way, it leaves no doubt in anyone elses mind that people may be getting preferential treatment or not.

But hanging a numbered warning sign under their name is more along the line of Public Humiliation. I think that you could lose more members doing that. No one wants to wear a Dunce Hat.

Did anyone really think Efren would post here? .....what could be more ludicrous ?

It was all a joke, and it was obvious - did anyone really think Efren would post here?

Or Rodney, Earl, Shane?...... and John Schmidt used to but swore off by the many trolls that followed him around, using his name in every post like it was a badge of honor. It is tough, I embrace it like everything else, as a necessary "evil".

No, the pros will never post here, except for John Brumback, Chris and a few more. However, they won't tolerate disrespect from people that are just trolls. I look at trolls on here like they are necessary bacteria, and some is good for health, too much kills the body.

Yeah, I know what you mean re Bacteria.

Bacteria is necessary for making cheese. The same way I feel about certain people that show up once a year looking for Free Cheese.

And I love Cheese. I keep mine in my fridge and pocket.

Most Pro pool players I know live like millionaires, they just don't have to worry

I've been here for two years and have never seen a pro asking for "cheese". This is simply not true.

Occasionally I've seen a request for sponsorship and that's a legitimate business deal among two men, not charity by any stretch of the imagination.

Most pool players I know live like millionaires, they just don't have to worry about the money. It's really an amazing life, I've been communicating with more and more road players and the gambling in the USA is really good in Texas, Mo, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and parts of Indiana.

You must have missed the last Denise Belange Thread. The Funeral Thread.

Can't remember his name now. Looking for a straight $2500.00 to cover air fare, a nice hotel and entry fee for Vegas. No deals there, just give me the Money.

Other than that, this isn't what this Thread is about. I had mentioned that I would Ban all Donation and Go Fund Me threads under certain circumstances.

Donations are a personal choice, and if it happens in one thread every 6 months?

Who cares if someone needs money to bury a loved one? ......we should, however, that doesn't mean we have to give them money. Donations are a personal choice, and if it happens in one thread ever 6 months it's not an issue......plain and simple.

I've given away hundreds of DVDs and offer my serviced FOR FREE to all kids interesting in playing pool. This surely makes up for one "funeral thread" every 6 months.

that's cause...

CJ, that's more because you have to be independently wealthy to be able to afford to be a pro pool player than pool being a lucrative proposition...

How about that gal recently that wanted money to go to her tournament? She had no posts but asking for money.

Then you can throw in the producer who wanted money for his reality TV show. That is not a legitimate business deal.

There are plenty more.

And you and others - along with him on Facebook - keep bringing up John Schmidt and his disdain for AZ Billiards. John wouldn't have a US Open title without AZ Billiards. He needed a stakehorse and he got one. Yes, he AND his stakehorse both benefitted from it but again, he obviously couldn't find one outside of here so he used a stranger to put the deal together. Then there are the challenge matches he benefitted from due to his interaction on here with JCIN, Danny Harriman, etc. Pool players have a way of quickly forgetting the past, ignoring the future and only living in the moment.

Most Americans will spend at least one year below the poverty line at some point

Yes, Jaden, but let's face the county's reality as a whole, only a small percentage of the poplation are able to do anything you could call "lucrative," as a matter of fact, many hard working families can barely feed their children and themselves.

Don't feel sorry for us Pro Players, we're doing better than you can imagine. We can go where we want, when we want - eat with whom we want, and play a game that we love......whether a pool player is worth millions or broke they all enjoy life and live it according to their inner voice, not the voice of the outside world
