dhl dosen't deliver a lot of their parcels!!!! I would know, they bring them to me at the post office to deliver for them. Maybe that's why they seem so efficient.....
LOL alot of us ship enough packages we should start our own shipping Co.POCKETWOLF said:Ok, I know there are a lot of angry mobsters lining up their sights at usps, and judging from your problems I don't blame you. What I do know is that if you want to send anything and have it tracked, use either registered mail or signature conformation. Registered mail is the most secure mail delivery usps has. The item is under lock and key for most of it's journey. As for sign. conformation, you know the very day and time the package reaches each point on it's journey, including it's final destination. If you value the contents of your package, ALWAYS insure the item. It's the only way to guarantee you get your money in case of damage.
OK TROOPS- FIRE AWAY!!!!

I have never had a package even remotely late, and certainly never lost....(yes I just knocked on wood)... I will say that I've received a number of shipment when buying, shipped by priority USPS overnight, and they too have arrived on schedule. The best to you,
and hoping for quick resolve & peace of mind.

Joe I feel for you, hope everything works out!
DJKeys said:I agree with Brett here. Fedex is the most reliable shipper in my opinion. I was sent something by USPS priority with tracking once and I received the package (luckily) before the tracking number was even available.
I usually use their 2-Day or Saver service and have never had a problem so far. Overnight is the best, although a little more expensive. Cues are, in general, and expensive item, so I don't mind paying extra for Fedex. However, I am not a dealer, and I am not shipping cues daily. If one is shipping a lot of cues, (like Joe) it does run into more substantial cost.

Although this is the first time I have had an issue (except for one Express Mail problem), I really don't like the "You have to wait until 14 business days pass before we can trace it" thing really irks me. Seems like the sooner you traced it, the easier it would be to locate.

masonh said:i guess you have never done anything illegal.betting on a pool game is illegal.at the time it was completely legal to wager on sports at overseas sportsbooks.the monies were settled in cash.not sure about taxes but most people who bet on ball games with bookies or offshoe sportsbook don't pay takes.most of them lose anyway.it is pretty hard to lay -110 and pay taxes on top of it,but you sound like a real nice guy.thanks for your compassion and your SYMPATHY.
