Any interest in a tour of the Diamond plant with your host, Greg Sullivan?

I, along with a few other guys at the Derby last year, went to the Diamond plant with Greg Sullivan and he gave a in depth tour of his Diamond facility.

I probably got about 60-90 mins of footage. Greg is a very passionate man so it was a very interesting tour.

Is there a lot of interest in this? If so, would you want me to edit it down to about 15 mins or so? It seems society these days, lose interest in things that last longer then a few minutes, so I don't want to create a video if no one would watch it thru till the end.

You guys tell me... you want the whole thing or do you want it to be edited way down to just give you a quick tour?

I'm interested in anything that has Greg Sullivan in it. He's one of the best people I know in the pool industry, bar none. He's generous, kind, and always tries to do the right thing, helping those who help him achieve his mission. He also expresses his appreciation to anybody who trys to effect a change for the better, to include contributing to his endeavors, and this is something I admire. It's called good business.

I agree, Gregg, that some YouTube and other pool-related videos are just too doggone long. I sit at a computer for my job, and though I do enjoy pool stuff, I can't stand watching pool all day on a computer. Heck, I don't even enjoy it on TV anymore. I usually don't view the Ustreams of pool for this very reason. I might pop in for 5 or 10 minutes sometimes, but that's all I can take. I'd rather be doing something else in my valuable *free* time, and that's being away from the computer. ;)

A short 10- or 15-minute video is perfect. Since Diamond will be the new table for Mosconi Cup, this is very timely. Thanks for thinking of it. I look forward to seeing it. Be sure to have a lot of Greg shots talking.

I had the pleasure of touring the plant and enjoyed the experience. There is a lot more technology to a Diamond table than one might expect and Greg is a kind host. For me, it was an enjoyable time.

I think that 60 minutes would not be too long. Good luck with your project - would love to see it.

Ship it, I would love to watch it .

I'd like to see the 15-min highlight reel.

But you can also link to the unedited version for the diehards.

I'm in the market for a 9' Diamond, so your timing is excellent.

If Greg gives the tour again at DCC, I'm in unless I already own one.

I would be sure to watch it

long or short version.

Thanks cali,

SLIM

I would like to see either version. It would be pretty cool to do a full blown doc on Diamond. They have a great story.

I will watch it no matter how long you make it, I think that would be so cool to see the Diamond plant, and going by some of your other videos CaliRed we know it will be very good, can't wait to see what you put up, thanks.

Cali, you got me for life...
..a long AND a short version would be nice.

..and maybe some old pics of Sophia Loren

YES! I think starting with a short version (15 min) would be smart, and then do a longer version as you have free time. I know I'm very interested and would watch as much as possible about table construction.

Either version would be great for the Sport of Pool in general, I think, but Justin's idea of a Documentary? WOW!!! How super would that be!

By the way, are you working on an Eye-Mac and editing with "Final Cut Pro X?"
Perhaps a Mac Pro, with "Final Cut Pro?"

Aloha Calired,

Mahalo for all your efforts. Things like this are what is going to bring a positive light to our passion. I personally could watch 2 hours if it was packed full of information and a little bit of personality but beleive an hour to 75 min should be long enough. Again keep up the tremendous work you do.

Mahalo,
Carl

I'd like the full version. There are lots of us here into cues, tables, woodworking, etc, and I think the full version would be interesting to us.
