Talking to a guy who was talking about dennis leaving sdak and going on the road.
Probably early 80's.
Thanks

Dennis Haar? If it's the same guy, says he was born in '72, so early 80s would put him around 10. Maybe early 90s?

Think it probably was early 90's. I am from sdak left in 87.I dont remember talk of him back then.I sure didnt know all the good players.

Are you asking if someone has heard of him or knows him personally?

I don't know him but I've heard the name. Solid player as far as I know.

He posts here, he may see this thread.

Yes, DH plays really good. He works a job and does not play full time but he can still dab it when he gets right.

Dennis won the top class in SD when he was 14. He won the VNEA International Championship Masters class as an 18 year old.

Dennis has been living in or near Vincennes IN...unless he's moved. He plays good enough to have taken 4th in a CSI pro event in Vegas a couple of years ago. I think he plays in the US Open 9 ball too.

I wouldn't know him if he walked in my front door, but my "pool detective intel" say's he's plays jam-up 8-ball and may be at champion level at last pocket 8-ball. First time I ever knocked anyone's action like that but as I said I don't know him from Adam and you can't sneak up on a good game anymore anyway!

I believe I've seen his name on the U.S Open and Turningstones. I also believe he was on one of their streams. Johnnyt

Dennis plays 'A' level pool and is a damn good guy to boot! He stays under the radar because he never causes trouble and goes about his business on and off the table like the gentleman he is!

I know Dennis...he was the first South Dakota kid/ Won our state Masters title at 13 I believwe. Won VNEA Nationals back to back at 17 and 18. Was metored a bit by me but mostly Mike Chewakin. Just saw his dad aand uncle this last weekend. I hear he still plays strong and owns a bigfoot he practices on.
