When I was at Valley Forge in March I signed up and paid for a subscription for InsidePool Magazine at their booth. Have never heard from them and they don't reply to their emails. Anyone else sign up and get anything?
I got screwed by them 2 DCC's ago. Guess my $20 was REALLY NEEDED!!! I should stand in front of their booth next time I see them with a shirt on that sez "Inside Pool, 12 great issues for $20 a year. Just dont pay up front"...and at 6'5" Im sure I make a helluva billboard!!
normally i'm all for stuff like this. i dig customers being open with their experiences. but in this case there're only so many billiards magazines anyway that if it shut down it would be missed for sure

Did you try to call them before you decided to come on here and try to crucify them?
Wow, serisouly, just call them or stop by their booth at any event. I've been at the booth before when someone says they never got their subscriptions and they immediately fix it, no questions asked. They usually hire someone to man the booth during the events and, let's face it, that job gets boring sitting there all day long. I'm sure it's just a mix up and they are always happy to fix anything like that.
I know JR & Sally, I work with InsidePool and am happy to associate myself with them. Unlike many people in the industry, they are not short-sighted about anything and aren't always needing to be PAID for everything they do. They truely love pool and care about the future of the sport.
Most magazines (and I suspect InsidePool is the same) do not make their money on their subscriptions but rather on their ad sales. So I can promise that they are not trying to "doop" you out of your money. They donate lots of free issues to many of the regional tours and associations all the time. Not EVERYTHING on this forum has to be made into a scandal.
