i've bought more than a few really good hitting cues right here on AZ. i've even sold a few really good hitting cues here. a lot of the selling comes from me being broke

Sell the other...well nice to see some humor amongst some of you!

Worst playing cue I've purchased was a sneaky 5280
Best playing cue I have owned or still own is a John Davis full splice I have really learned that cue.
Got a Gilbert JB and it's JAM UP! also, I can keep the cue ball in the middle area of the table 80 percent of the time, makes a big difference in play.
Owned DP's, Joss, Mc Ds. and a couple of others and they worked fine but with enough cues you find that one you're afraid to put down.

sense of humor? i'm not joking. if i'm selling something it's usually because i'm busted. i don't own a table so if i'm playing a lot a decent amount of my cash goes to table time. basically if i'm not winning 100 a week i'm stuck at least that in table time.

i've done a lot of deals here on az and every cue i've bought has been worth the cash if not more. 5-6 gilberts and a bryan mordt stick out in my hand. the last cue i sold on here was a BCM and it really did play well. so well in fact that the guy i sold it to refused to sell it back to me. so well that since i couldn't buy it back i ordered another!

i even bought 1 cue on here that had a SW style hit to it. i think i paid 800 for it. i still regret selling that one. the guy that has it won't let it go for less than 1200.

there a lot of guys on here selling cue that're ho hum but there're a lot of really good hitting cues being sold (or rather being offered) here daily.

I have one that shoots really bad. But I'm afraid you'd have to take me with it to get that kind of performance.:yeah:

I only sell the best playing cues that I have and keep the POS. The POS's are hard to come by as no one ever sells any. :rotflmao1:

I'm into "psychic cues".
Those are the cues that I know are going to play bad before I get them.

what i have noticed is when you buy aa 20 year old cue from a well known cue maker that shoews very little play, they usually play bad. The flip side is true, i have bought 20 year old cues with a million balls hit with it and it will be a great playing cue. So i'm awalys a bit supicious when I am buying a 20-40 year old cue with very little play(unless I know about the cue and know it was a safe queen). Good cues get more use plain and simple.

Well, Fatboy, I buy some older cues that have been well used and I get them refinished or have a shaft made, etc.

By the time I get done they look BETTER than new.
