Wow, what a piece of work you are. I've sit back and haven't said anything about this wolfing and have found it interesting. But, to personally insult Dave on a public forum like you did is just too much. I've known and watched Dave for the last 15 years playing in tournaments and matching up and he has always displayed class and character. All he wanted was for you guys to call him and not do this on a public forum. If a game could be made then great if not then so be it. Instead, you try a two bit hustle on a man with impeccable record. I'm sure Cory would be proud. I would love to see this take place but be professional about it but from viewing your posts professional isn't in your vocabulary.

Although Jamie is not a "Pro" he CAN PLAY...
He does know Corey very well and has for years...
He has backed several players here locally...

I am pretty sure that Jamey Martin replied to your post before he even spoke to Dave. Jamey was making the point that he liked Dave's end of the matchup. Jamey is not Dave's Bullhorn, he doesn't need anyone to speak for him. Dave does not participate on the forums, and for you to attack him in an environment he is not part of puts you way out of line.

Hmmmmm, this posts reminds me of some of the other unneeded Professional Pool Player Attacks that have occurred on this forum.

Hope everyone remembers this post when "piling on" and that this forum can improve.

The point that I'm making is that Dave isn't here doing the wolfing and defending himself plus it's on a public forum. Like I stated I would love to see the match come off but let them talk to each other directly. Have Cory call Dave and then he can hand it off to Jamie to see if a game can be made. The racking will probably be a huge issue since It's to Cory's advantage but who knows.

This has to be the biggest, unintelligent stretch of a statement I have read on this forum in months.

I have known David Matlock for almost 20 years & have never seen him disrespect someone. You have to pull information out of him if you want him to tell you how he really feels. He especially wouldn't do it in a public forum.

I have read comments from this Jamie McNugget for 2 weeks & he has disrespected almost every person that he has attempted to talk to. McNugget, IF somehow, in your mind, thought you were disrespected by Matlock, his bullhorn, his barber, or anyone else TRY to be the bigger man & treat others with respect. With your judge of character & show of character, you were probably wrong in the first place.

I hear Jack Hynes is looking for a stakehorse. McNugget, you might be the perfect fit.

Again, I would only allow the stakehorses to rack. McNugget, that gives you about 40 days for Corey to teach you his secrets.


....also, the offer is still open. $500 to play the match in St. Louis.

Regarding the game:

I have to admit that I agree with Jamie that he has offered a bet and all Dave has to do is to say yes or no, he doesn't need to talk with Corey about this. It is either a yes or no to Jamie's offer. However, I think that Jamie should stop bashing him, especially since he is not here on AZ to defend himself... That's a pretty low class thing to do, IMO.

Dave has obviously turned the bet down, since he doesn't accept Jamie's offer and are trying to change the game, so my guess is that there will be no match up at all. Sad, but we all knew it from day one, didn't we? ;)

Good post. Ronnie Alcano used the break to his advantage in every match to win the WPC last year. Some matches he broke hard and some soft and in the final, he used a medium speed break. He actually played shape on the One in the side rack after rack, and it worked every time but once. I would say that's pretty effective.

It was the main difference in his final match with Ralf. Ralf's break was not working. He tried soft breaking and then hard. He even tried to break like Ronnie.

Bottom line, Ronnie figured out the best break on each table he played on. I noticed it.

Did you ever notice that each poster's personality shows thru eventually if they post long enough? Why is it that 4-5 posters on these forums have to talk like potty mouthed little babies? If they feel even the slightest bit disgreed with, then, they're off on a tirade replete with assorted vulagarities, insults, obscenities, etc. Instead of debating or trading opinions like pals, they come off like such thin skinned weak people who's inflated ego's have been blemished to the point where they can't help it, they are compelled by their inner voices to get just as nasty as they can until their ego is soothed.
This place is better off without the babies who can't handle heat.

By the way, I am a huge Corey Deuel fan. I wonder what he thinks of how these threads have plummeted downward until they're just barely circling the toilet bowel?

Are you serious? How long has Dave been playing pool? Do you think he is going to make a game on here with some idiot loud mouth and than when Dave and Corey get together... Corey says "I never said I would give you the 8 but if you want to play even" PLEASE Dave is little smarter than going for this horseshit. It is real simple if Corey wants to play Dave, all Corey has to do is call Dave plain and simple.. for christ sake if Corey is too scared to talk to him on the phone how the hell is he ever going to play him in person!!
