I have been collecting autographs from as many major pool players as can over the last six years. I have 95 signed cue-balls now. Some of our very own members are signed to these balls. I would like to know who else collects them and who might have the most. You can see them here: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...6&l=e8b2a2bd6e

I have not bought any autographed cueballs. I have had them all signed in person. P.S.....I have never seen Willie.....I only wished

I have an autograph book filled that goes from present back to players from the early 60's. Lassiter to Efren. I wish I had taken more pictures though.

I have a few.............sets

I used to take a set of balls with me to events and get them signed and I would take the set with me to each event until the set was complete.

I have 4 sets signed and in display cases. I also have a few loose cue balls floating around signed as well.

Autographed ball collector....

I collect old, interesting pool balls and a guy called me years ago, on several occasions (he had been given my name by several others and forgot that he had already asked me) ~ said he had a big collection of autographed balls. Said he was handicapped and thus could not play so all he could do was collect autographs. I didn't ask him if he wanted Aaron Aragon's autograph. Anyway he only wanted really rare ones like Greenleaf and McGinnis, and to this day I don't know of any of those very early players autographing balls, just photos or prints. I don't know the guy's name but someone might know if you ask around other collectors. I own Bennie Allen's custom leather cue case and it is covered in autographs of many champions who played in Kling & Allen. I don't think I can top that so I don't collect autos. But that guy is the only collector of autographed balls I know of.....

I don't have a Ray Martin but I did manage to get Ewa's autograph in Norman, Oklahoma at the Womens WPBA Mid West Classic in October 3-7, 2007.

I have an Earl Strickland, so there!
Being out in the boonies in Canada, we don't have the opportunity
to be around large events. I have to rely on EBay for autographed balls, but thats ok with me as they are usually pretty decently priced.
Be much more fun to have them autographed in person.
PS - You have a very large and impressive collection.
Has anyone told you that they like your balls?

You know what....you are right and I have never thought about getting Bob's. He lives in the Dallas area and I am only 120 miles east of there. I may try to locate him before it is too late. I go to Dallas about every two months anyway.
PS....Paul Guernsey would be another good one from the Dallas area.

Sign my balls

I collect them also but don't have anywhere near as many as you do. And likewise, I don't buy them. Hoping to someday get Jean Balukasi's autograph.

Thanks for sharing your collection!
