Az billiards classic poker tournament

I thought it was a lot of fun, it's too bad people who weren't even in the tournament had to stick around and talk shit all night.

I might play again next time, but will have the chat turned off.

no sh*t. The funny part was that the person that was immitating Tony Chohan forgot that she had played with me a couple of years ago. I have a vast database spreadsheet of screennames from all sites since I used to play online for 10 hours a day. Tracking ratings, style of play, etc...

Sure enough, right beside the screen name Timepick51 there was her name.

So, someone impersonating Chohan threatened me and talked sh*t trying to ruin the fun had by all the others. Pathetic.

One of the funnier lines though was the one where timepick51 said that I like to make fun of Tony for having bad luck, lol. Then about 5 people said, "so you're saying that Tony getting caught with 61 pounds of pot and coke is bad luck?" lol.

Google the work timepick or timepicker by the way. It's weird how Tony picked a screen name associated with keyboard strokes and interface, lol.

I'm totally drawing a blank vette,

A female who is a big supporter of Tony's innocence, dislikes you, has interest in keystrokes and shorthand, and might be in the same room as KM.

weird...

Man, this is sickening to have to respond to this, but I guess I have to.

FWIW, I was not on the Timepick51 account, which is the "exact' name.

People making assumptions, just like they did when Tony Chohan was arrested, sometimes may not know all the facts.

In this case, it was not me on Timepick51's account. Though it is true that I played on that account, I also have played on Earthquake57's account for online poker. I'm usually in the $6 turbo Hold 'em tournaments, though.

Not that it is anyone's business, but sometimes Keith stakes me and others, to include Tony Chohan, to play on his online account.

For all you know, that may not have been Keith McCready playing poker last night at all. Yeah, that's the ticket. Gee, maybe Keith doesn't even exist anymore. Is it me behind the curtain? Is it I who was in the movie? Is it I who's posting to this thread right now?

Thanks for the compliment. I do play pretty strong, don't I?

How much did I win again?

Too bad the great poker tourney is now turning into he said she said Tony said.

Sorry FireCracker and I couldn't make it - she placed 3rd in the OB Cues Ladies Tour Stop this past weekend and so we didn't get home in time to play with you's guy's. But, I was glad she placed so well!

Jimmy-Leggs - hope I can make the next one so I can show my lack of poker skills. ;)

I'm not sure what happened here.

Personally, I don't like being accused of something I have not done.

In fact, I'm pretty sure anybody on this forum would feel the same way.

It was fun. My story I arrive home at about 7:20PM CST, so I'm down 20 mins worth of blinds, however I needed to drop a deuce, grab a soda and an ash tray and somehow my $1420 in chips was down to $1100 or so in another 20 mins. I had junk for about 4 hands so I just left myself sitting out.

Then come 2 lovely ladies, time to raise to $400 since the blinds were $50/$100. Then Demetrius "The Donkey" Jelatis raises me all in for 90% of his stack...I call all in...He turns over A-Q Diamonds...spikes an ace on the flop my run is over. My shot at destiny ended by a beat. Demi I hope you fade into poker oblivion, oh wait he busted out with cowboys against A-K, I call it poetic justice!

Vette and Tony C. or whomever it was made me laugh. If it was indeed Tony C. easy way to prove it all would be to have Tony and Vette talk on the phone and schedule a UFC style death match. Tony is kind of little so I'll bet Vette makes it to the 3rd round.

Hey, this was a good POKER tournament.

I agree, you played good...That K-9 all in shove running into the pair of 9's and you hit the King hand saved your life though. That's what's good about poker tourneys though, you need to get a little lucky to win, if not the same guys would always win every time(maybe).

I was cruising along nicely in about 5th or 6th chip position with 12 left in the tourney and our table was six handed and then disaster occurred:

My AK against an all in JimmyLegs AJ - Bingo Jack on the turn, I still have close to 2k left. Very next hand my AK against an all in Playsumonehole (Waldo's) A10 - Bingo 10 on the flop and I am outy at 12 place. It was fun, although the drama was a little more than I personally like in a funzy poker tournament. Congrats to the Winners.

those back to back 3 outers were tough Don.

As for the drama, nobody can hang that on me. Timepick51 came in and started threatening me out of nowhere. I had nothing to do with it.

I have absolutely no idea how to play poker. I do know the rules, but that's about it.

I enjoy playing cheap poker live in person with friends, but once or twice a year I get this poker-feeling and I deposit some money ($ 100 - $200) into a pokersite. The money last normally a day or two, and then I'm done for the next 6-12 months, till I get that feeling again.

I like to play poker, but I have to say it's real good to empty out so quick, so I don't get addicted. I know I suck playing poker, and since I am getting busted after few minutes each time I deposit I manage to stay away :D

This was the first time I tried PokerStars, and I deposit $ 200 almost a week ago. I registered for the tournament, then played some $ 11 heads-up. That got boring pretty quick, so I signed up for $ 55 heads-up. Won twice, so I figured out that I could try another step up, and joined a $ 111 heads-up.

I got bored after a couple of hands, went all-in on 66 and the other guy had AK and he lost. Since I was bored I wanted to quit, but I pressed Accept instead of Decline when I was asked to do another heads-up, so there I was faced with this guy again.

He was not happy. For 5 minutes all I could see in the chat was *** ** *** **** **. I was already bored, and wanted to quit, so I went all in again on some stupid hand, and won. lol

Didn't play till Saturday, but decided to try again, and within two hours or so I was stucked with $ 21 on my account, and now it is $ 4,50 something :D

I really suck at poker. I am too "trigger-happy" to play serious, but I still enjoy playing cheap poker with friends.

And to play online with my AZ-friends was real fun, and I am definitely going to join next time also.

PS: Can anyone ship me some $ next time, and I'll paypal you. I am too afraid to deposit more money :D :D :D

Nobody likes being accused but how in the world can you not see why people think it was you???

1. Its an account that your admit to using on pokerstars that has specifics about your career and age.

2. The conversations were very much like you have posted here in the past. Ie, bashing people who think Tony wasn't "unlucky".

"im so offended that anyone would assume I was using my own pokerstars account, How dare you!!!"

It was a night full of people catching cards and putting other players out. I would definitely play again.

I agree you were just the target:eek::eek: On a more positive note, nice job surviving as long as you did on the seemingly forever short stack Vette, well played.

My favorite hand from Richardson was the min raise call with K7 off against Frankies QQ or JJ, can't remember. Flop comes X K 7 and then 7 on the turn:grin::grin: He had Frankie steaming a bit after that, you know what they say. "THAT's POKER":wink: That is why most of like pool better, best player or negotiater usually wins.

yeah, that was a sick beat. There were a couple of hands where aces got cracked by KK including the one that busted bignasty.

I caught Aces 4 times, lol. The hand that I doubled up was the only one where they really paid off though. The other 3 I won with preflop raises.

Oh, Roy, I paid that $20 to you that I lost for getting outlasted by Keith, who played nicely by the way, with a little luck on a few of the turns and rivers, lol.

When it got down to 6 handed it was really a crapshoot. Jimmy and I decided to call off our last longer bet. At one point, I was the high stack with $7800 or so and low stack had $6900 or so with 6 people left and blinds were 200/400 w/25 ante I think.

Yea with blinds at 50-100 he UTG raises to 200. At the time i have 7k+ and am the chip leader by a large margine. I don't fold most hands to a mini raise as i think its a terrible weak play. Anyhow i flop 2 pair and turn a full house to snap his AA. Just another day in the life of a poker player. He stayed pretty angry the rest of the night. :)
