There's another thread going where a prominent case maker has not delivered on a case after six months and repeated attempts to get status. Other posters mentioned that they still haven't gotten their case after 9 months and even 21 months. That's obviously unacceptable, hence my earlier comment mentioned in sarcasm that we be consistent and lynch 'em after say, six months.

When someone starts a campaign to get people to contribute to something as lame as this notion, I can express my opinion on this issue just as you can express yours on my post.
Attempting to raise money for some contest winner that didn't get his cue is silly and when the absurd literally happens before before your eyes, then it's right to speak out and tell everyone this is just STUPID.

Yall keep lynching all these cuemakers and casemakers and next thing you know we wont have anyone to build us a cue or case. Think the cue should have been made by now, but will delay lynchings for a little while longer. Hope this works out OK for intended receipitant.
Actually there are plenty of reputable makers out there that don't have this issue and actually provide great customer service....occasional hiccup maybe but overall good people to work with. This is sort of his own grave he has dug don't you think? How many delays is "ok" in your book before you grab the nearest post pitchfork? It's not like he is young up and coming maker that this could damage his future sales we are talking about here. I am pretty sure he is doing aight to say the least from his years in the business.

I haven't been following this the whole time but wow, not only is that a really sh itty thing to do but may have legal implications. This guy is a cue maker, who got a ton of designs for free. Nice, people are paid to design cues. You all have been ripped off! Anyone who entered into this contest may have a legal issue with this man. Especially if he didn't lay out some rules or disclaimers about what he was doing with the designs. I hope you all kept copies of your designs, if they start showing up somewhere . . .

If you are really interested in helping good causes, then this isn't one of them. People like Mike Kennedy, or the post by WardS today about his wife, qualifies for a legitimate, good cause but not this damn pool cue.
I'm finished by say on this matter....this is comical and sad at the same time. Lots of people are sufferring from real, genuine hardships and could use a helping hand. BUT...... raising money for this dream cue is just pure bullshit and a complete farce. Tsh....Tsh.....Tsh......Shame on you.

Bava, I'm sure while you are typing your judgement here there is no way you are holding anything but the most basic of pool cues. No way you'd have anything of value when any cue would do just as well and you could sell the cue of value and give the dough to Mike Kennedy. Matter of fact, why not get the ball rolling and donate your cues to Mike Kennedy so we can watch him create 213879135523865 threads to sell them?
