This post saddens me :(, but doesn't surprise me. It's posts like these that makes me furious. But there's not a darn thing I can do about it other than maybe spreading a little rep, both good and bad to those who are deserving of it, but it wouldn't make any diference in the end so I guess I'll just humbly post my own opinion.

BALABUSHKA_LADY .......... best of luck with your sale. If I had $1200.00 to spend right now on a cue, I'd gladly spend it on this cue. :) I'd be proud to own it.

Just this post alone makes the cue famous/infamous in a way and probably ups it's value.

Best regards,

Trevor

Thanks Trevor-Big Kiss :)
Maybe you're right-Now that the cue is famous.....
Price changed to 9,999.99 LOL!

My first on-line kiss. :o

A classy lady who likes cues and drives my ultimate dream car. This could threaten my "family man" status.

Big kiss back to you. Please don't tell my wife.

I have bought two GB sticks from this person on eBay when they were selling off their stock. I paid less than 1/2 the retail price of a new stick which is a great price if you are into this cue. I have 5 of them and they are great when friends come over to play with. The Limited edition went for less than 1/2 the retail price of $1100.00. If you are serious about selling this cue I suggest you put it on eBay with or without a reserve price and let the serious bidders get a chance at this. Just my 2 cents worth.

Having owned and sold many high end cues over the last 12 years (quemart on ebay) and I am talking gus, barry's,tas, mottey, etc and done deals with all the high end cue dealers I just dont understand many of the post on this thread. Richard Helmstetter who founded Adams cues and oversees there operation is well respected around the world and the creator of the Big Bertha Golf driver. Adams cues are not high dollar cues but they are well made and this cue is worth the 1200 bucks. Here is a well respected cue dealer who sells adams cues also and his price is right there with the cue in this thread http://www.billiardcue.com/cues.php?view=1
Its ok for a new cuemaker (there are a few on here) who make plain jain cues with no inlays or anything and charge 1500 for them and its a problem for a cue company who has been in the business for almost 40 years sell a cue for 1200? Imports are becoming common in the billiard industry from table makers moving there operations to canada and mexico(brunswick)to case makers making there cases overseas(J.Barton who looks to be making nice cases).I have seen these cues at VF and examined the workmanship and its very good. I dont think the Balabushka family would allow there name to be used to make a cue thats a POS to begin with. For 1200 bucks...3 shafts and a great bushka looking cue its priced just about right IMO. Hell it even has moori tips which some custom cuemakers are too cheap to put on there cues and throw a $1.00 tip on a 2500 cue(I have a friend here on az who waited 6 months from a very well know cuemaker and had to put new tips on the shafts before he even could play with a cue he just spent 2500 for) . If your looking to just buy this cue and flip it in a few weeks like most, then maybe its not the best investment for you but we seem to be judgeing almost all cues now based on "what can I sell it for".
Good Luck

Here's a suggestion:

What about a raffle?

This way you can get what you need for the cue, and the buyer can get in the game for a small investment.

I am doing this for my Mosconi Joss, and I have personally participated in several raffles here so far. (click link at the bottom of this post!)

They are easy and fun!

What do you think? (I'll buy a spot!)

PM sent!

BTW - some of you dealers need to show a little respect and get your facts right! At least two of you have convinced me NOT to ever buy a cue from you!

Trevor YOU are a class act! Some of these people could learn a lot from you!

hey there's a guy selling a bert schrager cue in the fs section who can't even spell selling correctly - unless he really means he takes the cue out on the water and crusies around with it - he didn't list a price, why don't some of you jacka**es head over there and offer 10 bucks and tell him he's stupid.

I took my Cobra out to the track
Hitched to the back of my cadillac
Everyone was there waiting for me
A corvette stingray and an XKE

Hey sorry, after I saw the Cobra it got stuck in my head.
