That occurred to me also Adam. We'll see what developes. I can't afford to go to DCC as I had planned so maybe I can do a trip a lil ways west by north. My wifes people come from out that way... about 50 miles south I think.. Moorehead and/or Onawa Ia., the Loess Hills area. If you get some time this spring/summer the Loess Hills area is a beautiful place to see. Hard to believe it's Iowa.. as the hills look more like the wild west or something.

Very cool Adam, congrats to you and the family. You can always tell a pool room set up by a pool player, it looks awesome from the pics. Will be making a trip up in the future to see you.

Scott yes you are right it is called Lucky's but Shane does not own it Jason Froehling is the owner. Lucky's is now not much of a pool hall anymore the pool hall was down stairs but they just turned the basement into a comedy club. Shane is gunna be moving in with me and he is gunna be the house pro at our pool hall.
 
As good a reason as any. My wifes side is from Dell Rapids. If we get up there, I will be sure to stop in.

I got word today that I may be heading to Sioux Falls to be a Vet Counselor, or Anchorage...pesonally, I am hoping Anchorage, but will not be the least bit dissapointed in going to Sioux Falls.....

Anyways...super nice pool room.....

I'll come over the next time I'm in the neighborhood! Last time I played in SF was in the 80's. We used to go over there our senior year in HS 'cause you could drink [3:2] beer when you were 18 and the MN age was 19. If I recall correctly, the place was called the corner pocket or something.

Not positive on when our 1st big tournament will be but we will know soon, but no Tom I wont be able to make the derby this year that is gunna be right around when we open plus i havent been playing at all so i would get pounded on lol. But good luck at the derby and hopefully we can get you up here sometime.
