Another brilliant piece of handicapping by yours truly. I have officially become the biggest sucker on AZ. :(

Whichever way I'm betting, bet the other way and you'll do fine. Five games on the wire! BLAH!!

If you always booked winners your action would dry up;)

morra appears to be a tournment player, i have a friend who plays much better than him, if he is in action for $1000 he does what Morra is doing. And I'm know knocking that, hell I know Morra busts his ass to play great but I dont think action is his bag. Just like tournments arnt mine, I fall apart like a cheap suit in a tournment, post up some $$$ and I'm a different guy.

Other players can do both, everyones brain is wired differently. I just hope this dosent hurt Morrra's ability to win tournments and he should start in small $50-$100 action giving up weight and get seasoned. Some guys are born seasoned I wasnt took me years to be able to play big, hell I remember my first $300 race to 11 I looked worse than Morra. It was humiliating, I actually respect him for comming out tomarrow. He is a great young man and I wish him the best. He has the goods, dedication etc. No reason he cant bounce back. He just bit off more than he can chew this time in the publics eye. I did it in the Derby 10ball Ring game-TV cameras 350 people watching and 4 world beaters. I did that to test myself, perhaps Morra is testing himself, i respect that. I was first out and never had a shot but I lucky for me I felt comfortable cameras TV everything it pumped me up and I love ring games-20 years ago I couldnt have held a cue in that spot. We all grow stronger.

Justin is just more at home out there and for being 20 he reminds me of Keith...almost.

were all different and I will be routing for John Morra, not for my bet, thats gone but for him to make a showing!!!!

On the other hand, if you always book losers it's a good thing if your action dries up! :D

Bergman reminds me more of John Schmidt for some odd reason.

From what I've seen of Morra play, he does well when there isn't a lot of pressure, but as soon as he's a top in a tourney, he starts to choke. One hell of a player, especially since hes got time on his side, but really seems to need to develop some nerves.

I think I have the title on AZ for biggest loser ,not total$,total bets lost in a row= 9 with this one. I cac't pick my nose in these challenge matches. The last bet I won was Yang/Ocullo. Johnnyt

You booked Mitch Ellerman in Reno....how quickly you forget! I think if you only bet $5 a match you'd never lose:D

You know what's funny, I was asking for Morra and some weight and nobody would touch the bet.

This might be the worse and most far off post ever on AZ!!!!
Not one part of it was correct accept you were first out of the ring game

This is so wrong on so many different levels...

Who among us has not played like a god one day and then not been able to beat McGoorty's "drunken Girl Scout," the next, even if someone held her up to the table.

Pool is a funny game and even after far more years than young Mora and Justin have put together, great players still struggle with consistency and temporarily go off the air. It's not necessarily choking, or one player being a money player vs a tournament player. Most of us recognize that the game demands so much precision, that almost any small thing can throw a player off. And when you're playing a strong player, then whatever woes you're temporarily suffering from stand out in even more distressing relief, than they normally would.

Only time will tell what kind of players these two truly are, given their tender age. Some young stars burn out, lose their talent, drive and discipline along the way, or even develop the yips. Others mature, grow stronger, and go on to become real monsters on the pool table.

So give the young lad a break. We don't know what's going on and he probably doesn't either. It's just one of those things that makes the game so challenging.

You must have been playing a different ring game than the one I watched, If I recall correctly you had at least three decent opportunities to make shots and missed on two and made another and scratched.

I do not think John Morra is choking as much as he is just not playing as good as Justin is over these last two days, I sat six feet from the table for two days watching this match and Justin is just executing a little better than John. John has been having the most trouble with his speed and continually is getting out of line. Another big aspect of the match is that Justin has won about 90% of the safety battles. Hopefully John can make a come back and put a little excitement into the match, otherwise congratulations to Justin Bergman on one hell of a win.

i broke and scratched

i did backwards cut the 6 ball and I saw the kiss for the scratch before I shot it, i looked at it again for the bank and didnt like it, so I opted for the cut and sure enough I scratched.

I did have a long cut on the 4? ball and for me thats a 20% shot at best, for the other guys in the game it was makeable no doubt it, I either over cut it or under cut it and missed shape the speed was good had I hit the ball correctly I would have had shape, I missed it plain and simple, SVB won that game and came with 2 more for 3 total. I should have made it it was a legitatimate shot, but for me a tough shot.

Those are the only times to the best of my memorie I had other than that I was kicking, its all good. I was happy that I wasnt nervious, and felt good-that right there was a win in my book. I will be back next year and hopefully not first out, my goal was not to be first out, but I drew #1 scratched, when we re-drew the numbers I was #6 last so I had a lot of innings of champions to fade, thats the worst possible draw. so next year my goal is not to be first out,

if i had other shots we'll se on the tape soon.

FatBoy sux because he contributed his $3500 to the DCC ring game when someone (Keith?) dropped out. That was a really way bad thing to because then there was more money in the pot for the high-level pros to compete for.

FatBoy sux because he played in that ring game and didn't play as well as any of the players there and got eliminated quick. That's a really way bad thing because most of us at AZ would also be in that position against that opposition.

FatBoy sux because last night out for dinner the valet whipped my Honda into some far away dank space, while some high roller's Rolls got parked right out front. That's really way bad because FatBoy has fancy cars too.

I won't like FatBoy until he is broke and humble. I hope that happens before next years ring game so I can buy him in for 15 Gus and Barry cues.

Second worst post on AZ ever.

Hey nuthanger noone doesn/t like him for those reasons,
its becsuse the post he made about Morra/Bergman was completely ignorant.
You mean you believe Morra has not ever "played for money" and he should "stick to tournaments" that is laughable.

Trust me that guy is seasoned and yes even you other hero Jay Helfert will tell you that!!!

I dont like the posts because they are all about the same thing and WHEN they ARE about POOL it shows he knows nothing about the subject.

Fatboys post was honestly the most ignorant and useless post ever and by ANY means is it close to being true.

Don't be a hater, dude. It makes one look small.

Fatboy is just on tilt a lil bit, everyone tilts from time to time. Justin is better than Morra, thats all. If they play another race to 100 Justin will win that one to, no matter what the bet is.

in a race to 10 for $100 I like Morra. That was my point, he is in too deep, I did the same thing when I was 18 or 19, i stepped up to fast got my dick knocked it the dirt, picked up the pieces and now I can play for anything-it didnt happen over night for me, Justian is doing something I couldnt do when I was 20-good for him. Morra just needs to work on his mental game he is capable of playing alot better that he has, the bet, cameras something is throwing him off way-off. What the hell donty I know, and Cincydude if your so smart how come you aint rich?
