Bergman vs Shaw updates

Wow, 40-23......I could see this match going either way, but couldn't have predicted this score after day 1! I'm curious what Jayson's odds are to win from here? He's going to need to play perfect and lots of heart to win from here and that still may not be enough.

Yup. Bergman sucks all right... Must be the air strokes that made the balls drop...

I predict that after tomorrow's 2nd half of the match is over Justin's FargoRate will be slightly more accurate when he moves up closer to where he deserves to be.

his break his decent bergmans that is

he needs go get more credir for his defensive game and his precision
he is rarely on on the wrong side of the ball
he does play a little more steady which i think means he makes less mistakes
shaw gear is maybe higher but we have yet to see him get going

will SHAW do what he did to shane on day 2 and come good
shall be interesting

After all the childish banter regarding the match and the 'backers" and who is gonna put up what and when .... I am surprised that this match ever came to fruition :) Given what I think I know about the two combatants ..... I gotta think the only way Justin can win is if Jayson has one hand tied behind his back ...and that MUST be his left hand LOL. ................. :)

Jayson should buy out for $9k and get the hell put of dodge...he's not going to win there any kind of way they play. He's out manned right now. Justin is on a mission...I'm not sure who can get there right now against him.

Bergman played much better. Simple as that.

Shaw played very well up to about 10-10. Then, he fell apart. Missed hanger balls, missed position, missed kicks. Shaw had a better break, but Bergmans was good enough.

Bergman played about the same speed the entire match.

I just had a look at the end of day 1 results ..... Like I said "What I think I know" LOL. Nice game management Mr. Bergman. I hope to see you in Vegas for the Mosconi Cup. I'll be rooting for YOU :) If and when Jayson's game ever matures .... he may well become the best player on the Planet ... but I won't be holding my breath regarding the maturity part............... :)

Justin's defense, banks, cue ball control and ball pocketing skills are as good as anybody on the planet imo.

His break might be his only weakness but he is a fearless and smart player that plays jam up on all tables and all games.

I really think he should play some of the big World Championship events there is no doubt in my mind that he can compete at that level.

I watched Justin beat Alex TWO sets in a row to win the 8 Ball at Jamacia Joes. After Alex put a seven pack on him.

Whatever he was before, damn good road player, decent pro etc.., he is a certifiable bonafide CHAMPION now.
